"Totaled a car with full coverage insurance, the gap coverage paid their part of the claim before progressive. After two months of missed calls with my agent I filed a complaint and was responded to immediately. Switched insurance as soon as the claim was settled."

"I’ve been with Progressive for about a year and I won’t be renewing. I dropped a coverage off my policy before renewing to lower my premium. The problem is I was still charged for the service the first month into my renewal and was told I would be refunded for the over payment of $74, but now they won’t honor it. I asked to have the call pulled to prove I was told differently by the supervisor and was blatantly told I apologize if you were given incorrect information but you won’t be receiving a refund for the overpayment. It’s not a big deal about the $74 it’s the principle of the integrity of the company honoring what they tell their customers. It was also the lack of genuine empathy from the manager who handled the call it was very sarcastic."

"Our family was involved in a car accident. My husband was stopped at a red light and waiting to make a turn when he was side-swiped by another driver (who had Progressive insurance). We were assigned to work with Shaundrea and she denied our claim saying that there was a 3rd "phantom" driver involved (although there was no evidence of a 3rd car). After many phone calls, we were able to get to Brett (a claims supervisor). Brett was quick to respond to our concerns and took time to review our case. Thankfully, Brett reversed the liability decision and Progressive covered the damages in fixing our car as well as a rental car during the repair. Brett went above and beyond and we are so appreciative for his integrity in doing the right thing for our case."

I totaled my car last Wednesday and even with a holiday I got a payout and the entire situation is settled."
