"Tasty bakery items made fresh and frequently. Love the egg tarts. If it looks good, grab it! Each item is only $2-4."
"Pastries looked incredible, and they have mooncakes now, too! But because we went while waiting for our table at Koi Palace for dim sum, we just got a Vietnamese coffee, a Hong Kong milk tea, and a wife’s pastry. The pastry was very nice (not too sweet), and we had asked for reduced sugar in the drinks, so they reduced the amount of condensed milk. Both drinks were very on point. Pretty quick service as well and clean shop!"
"Good selection, store looks clean. You can now walk into the store, browse around, grab a tray or basket and thong, and get your own pastries from the display cases. Prices have gone up, as with everything else. We believe the sponge cupcake was $1.75 before covid, it is now $3. I think these prices will deter me from coming back."
"This place is expensive relative to what you get. Similar in price to 85*, but IMO 85 is better. Can get almost identical stuff in Oakland Chinatown for roughly 1/4 the price or less (Napoleon Bakery). For example, some items that were supposed to be crunchy were simply not at all. That being said, nothing here is BAD. Just pricey for the quality vs alternatives. Also, during COVID you can't walk the store like usual, so it's hard to poke around and browse for what you want. You wait in line and order at the door...then you're under pressure to hurry and order at the front. Don't like it."
"A good variety of fresh pastries, savories, bread and cakes - HK style. What we tried was delicious - makes me want to come back here and try more."
