"I had a pleasure dining at Venus Cafe. It’s an authentic Hong Kong cuisine place. Not a fancy place, more homey. It’s an amazing combination of Asian flavors with an European twist. We ordered pork and chicken and both were great. Def coming back to try other menus."

"Classic Hong Kong Cafe menu and restaurant ambience. I like their beef chow fun a lot. It has good "wok chi". The beef is tender just enough. The chow fun doesn't stick together and not overly greasy. While I would love to have more green onion, it has a good ratio of bean sprouts and onion to noodles. We also got the pumpkin shrimp stir fry with XO sauce and it has a good amount of shrimp. In another visit, I tried their HK French toast. Their recipe is 3 slices of bread so it is nice and thick but I prefer to have more peanut butter inside. Otherwise, it was done well."

"Typical HK style cafe, food quality was good, great location, located in a shopping mall with Ranch 99, Paris Baguette etc. Lots of other food options in this mall, has another franchise brand in San Francisco, tried both Venus Cafe with similar food quality, here in San Jose branch might have fewer options, may not be the best authentic taste but they get the job done very well, between $17-20 per order which is pretty normal price range for this type of quality and location, parking lot is a bit compact with high traffic especially you have ranch 99, expected to be a bit hard to find a parking space, lots of electric cars parking spaces, overall was a pleasant food experience."

"Lunch options are a bit expensive (just under $20 w/o tax), but rest assured it's totally worth it for the quality. Seafood udon on a sizzling plate is very delicious, and the curry pork chop was made so tender and succulent I couldn't get enough of it! Service is really fast and the minestrone was a good side that came with the meal."

"One of the few HK style cafes in the area, this place serves up some tasty nostalgic hk food. They make really good baked pork chop dishes. If you're hungry, go with the Big Brother. This time I got the special with the 3 sauces baked pork chop ( black pepper, tomato, and cream white sauce) that comes with a drink. Their hk milk tea is pretty legit too. I definitely recommend it! They have a special going on right now for lobster with e-noodle ( braised type of noodle that's been previously fried). Really delicious and good price! I will definitely order it again!"
