"It's very much a small, old diner on the inside. The staff are nice but the food isn't great. My wife did not like her pancakes at all but they left them on the bill. I paid for them because we ordered them but thought that would have been a nice courtesy."
"Ok so this is a time warp kinda place, I mean it's like stepping back in time to an old school greasy spoon breakfast joint. Daily specials and a standard regular lineup. It's filled with local regulars, a mix of bicyclists, families and walk ups. Food was spot on and service with a smile. I had the special " Monte Cristo" I'd definitely eat here again l."

"It’s a beautiful thing after a hike to happen on a place that perfectly encapsulates that ethereal sense of Americana. To some it’s a dream best entertained in their minds alone but here it’s alive and well. Simple American cafe food but done right made but happy cooks who sing happily as they add that bit of passion that makes the food all the better. I highly recommend the Ruben — it didn’t disappoint!"
