"My husband died back 2018 and apparently escrow had paid the insurance for the year. So, I was contacted and told that a check was do, since home insurance stopped after his death. However, they are giving me the run around and will not send the check which is rightfully mines since I am his surviving widow and are talking about sending it back to the mortgage company instead to keep from paying it to me, or keep it for there self after I have submitted all the information like his death certificate to them. Very untrustworthy office. UPDATE After I reported them to the Better Business Bureau someone got in contact with me from the corporate office and they sent me a check without all the red tape they’d been talking about previously to hinder me from getting the money. Of course they didn’t pay the entirety of what was owed siting insurance was still in affect after he died but trust me, no it wasn’t. But at least I got something back"
