Union Square Pizza & Kitchen

"This new pizza place is located right on the corner across from the Hilton Union Square. The ingredients are fresh and everything is made to order. I didn’t like that you must scan a QR code scan to see the full menu, but they do have signs hung with part of the menu. I ordered both a pizza and a chicken Alfredo pasta to try them out. Both were very good. The chef was very nice and checked on us personally. I travel to San Francisco fairly often and will be returning."

"The pizza is excellent. Very fresh ingredients and perfectly baked. The service is incredible. I arrived to pickup my order a few minutes early while my pie was still in the oven and the gentleman working there offered me a free slice of my choice while waiting. He even brought it to me so I wouldn't have to get up. Really nice, peaceful atmosphere with good seating options. You won't be disappointed!"

We wanted a pizza and we choose the right place, only open a few weeks but the Pizza was Delicious and the Chef/Manager was a great guy and passionate about his food, wish we'd found it earlier. 10 out of 10 for us. "As a New Englander, not far from New Haven, CT (America's pizza capital), my standards for pizza are high, and I'm open to many different pizza styles. I tried a pepperoni with fresh pineapple (yes, I'm one of them), and my wife had a margherita, which had a great pesto sauce and plenty of fresh basil. They were both delicious! The dough, hugely important, was just right - stretchy with crispy edges. Friendly staff, good music, and California culture is evident there. The atmosphere was great inside, but downtown SF, in general, has taken a bit of a downturn in recent years."
