"I couldn't think of a reason to not give it 5 stars. The fish was hot and tasty not greasy the servings were huge the service was incredible, people were friendly and helpful, the place was clean and comfortable. Actually the food was so good that after we ate our lunch we came back and bought more for our family who wasn't there. I would be remiss if I didn't mention the tarter sauce and slaw. While I personally don't use tartar sauce my family said it was the best they've ever had and the coleslaw was fantastic. We will definitely head back to try something else on the menu. Maybe the fish tacos?"

The food is always consistently good, the staff is friendly and kind, and the atmosphere is oceanic with neat wall murals. The prices are reasonable and affordable, and the serving sizes are large. I highly recommend the fish and chips as well as the zucchini !"

"Great Fish n Chips! The batter is so tasty and can be ordered light if so desired. The crinkle cut Fry's (chips) are golden and delicious. All comes to your table nice and hot. Adult dishes come with macaroni salad or coleslaw The Lighthouse is the place to go."

"I recently dined at the best fish and chips eatery in Redding, CA, where you place your order at the counter, take a seat, and have your food delivered to your table. I indulged in the bread bowl clam chowder, the 3-piece fish and chips with a dipping sauce, and coleslaw on the side. Additionally, I ordered the fish sandwich, which came with fries and coleslaw. My absolute favorite was the bread bowl clam chowder. The warm sourdough bread paired with the creamy clam chowder was absolutely heavenly, and I couldn’t resist finishing the entire thing! The restaurant itself was clean and spacious, adorned with charming lighthouse decor that perfectly matched its name. The parking lot was generously sized, providing free and convenient parking. It was a fantastic dining experience with great food and fast, friendly service, and I’ll definitely return when I’m in town."
