Reviews
"Absolutely love this place! Great people! 10/10 recommended."
"Dude who owns the place was chilling outside with his rifle next to him, waiting for customers. Very nice guy who gets to run the bar when and how he wants. They don't take cards but do have wifi and accept venmo. Very cool feeling establishment. This is a very remote place like nowhere else around. Only wifi within 40 miles!"
"Very unique stopping spot. The owner, friends, and locals put a lot of time and thought into the construction and decorations. Everything hanging in the bar has it's own story......Love that despite being off grid, the saloon has all the comforts because of the thought and care put into the solar system. Being self employed, We feel that it's important to stop and spend a few bucks at every back country establishment to help ensure they will still be there providing those essential services next time through. The couple of hours we spent there relaxing just made the afternoon! Well done guys!"
"Back in 1979 I was working in industrial reforestation, they were US Forest Service contacts. We stayed in Cecilville for about 3 months. There used to be a bunkhouse from the CCC days with a crude woodburning stove and wooden bunks. Cecilville was out in the middle of nowhere. It was hard work but good pay. I don't know who owned the place back then but they seemed like good people, showers food , water and beer were always available to accommodate laborers ...tree planting is hand planting , few even know it exists, it is one of the hardest jobs in the world...we killed scorpions and timber rattlesnakes quite often...it's like a blur because of how hard it is 7 days a week non-stop...you burn about 6000-8000 calories a day doing it...I miss Cecilville !"
"Friendly atmosphere, allowed to take our dog in. Burgers were nice and big. Loved it so much we ate twice there and will definitely stop in again."
