"My husband and I were seated at 7:50 pm tonight. We weren’t acknowledged until 8:25 pm. Meanwhile 2 tables around us were served within 5 minutes of sitting. If it weren’t for a waitress that noticed us looking around confused, we probably would have left. I would give 1 star but the nice experienced waitress made up for our experience."

"Four of us went in all. Dark lit room. Chairs are uncomfortable and small. Tables are small and spaced too close to other tables. Only one person in my group liked what they got. With the prices as they were we had higher expectations and excitement. The food fell short. Unimpressed. It wasn’t gross by any means. The room was loud and crowed. I wouldn’t take children. There was a lot of cursing and unapproiate language from other guests. Maybe if they weren’t so close it wouldn’t be so audible. There aren’t many options in town, good thing for business. I will not go back. But the service was friendly and beautiful. Jocelyn was an angel."

"Yummy, the ribeye and prime rib where cooked perfect, melt in your mouth perfect. By the time you get through the ravioli, the carrot and celery plate the soup the salad your full and have to take your meal home with you. They should turn it around and serve the steak and then serve all the other stuff after. Anyway, the service was okay, not the best, but it was really busy. Inside is super loud at times. If you really want to eat, make a reservation. There is a bar you can get served in, too. 100 bucks for 2 and 2 16oz steaks and alot of food for the price well worth it."

"I like Double D's but don't love it. I've eaten there several times and it always just okay for me. Many people love it, but the main courses are really heavy, not always that great (unless you stick with a steak) and the atmosphere is cramped and very loud. That being said, you get a ton of food even if you don't order appetizers - fresh bread, mini antipasto plate, and depending on the entree soup and salad. The sides are good - garlic mashed, mashed, mac-n-cheese, etc. I tried the chicken marsala this time hoping for something lighter. It was heavily breaded and then fried, and not enough of the mushrooms and sauce - so the chicken was fairly bland and almost dry. My garlic mashed was great. My d.i.l. had the ribs - a small pile but I think plenty. Son had the mac-n-cheese burger which was interesting. A LOT of burger but I think he liked it. I keep forgetting I'm not crazy about the place and go about 1x a year. Considering the cost I probably should try another place or just order steak which I've had before and was perfect."
