"I had decided not to leave a review about my own horrible experience at Sivad (this is my husband’s account) but since my daughter has also been butchered now by the same stylist I’ve decided to say something. I went to Heather for the first time about a year ago. My first time in her chair she immediately launches into how she does extensions and loves seeing women’s face light up when they see what it’s like to have full/thick hair. I wasn’t there to address my thin hair, but thanks for making it an issue. She did a good job on my color though, so whatever. She must double and even triple book because there hasn’t been a single time that I went there that I wasn’t left sitting in a hallway/in the sink while she took care of someone else. Not a huge issue, but certainly has potential to stir up a bit of anxiety worrying that your hair is going to get messed up because she’s waiting on someone else during your appointment. Anyway, I finally let her do extensions. The first time she did them they were okay… even though I had to go home and tone them myself because they weren’t the “perfect match” she said they were right out of the bag. I ended up letting her install them 3 times. The 3rd time she went on about how much my hair was growing, how losing so much hair during reinstall was “normal”. All while keeping my hair behind my shoulders, I didn’t have her show me to confirm. I trusted her. Absolute stupid move on my part. After the last install I got a good look at the extensions…..Mullet would be a kind way of describing what she did to me. Not to mention my hair was matted inbetween each extension. Tangled beyond belief. I had the in for maybe a week and messaged my sister (also a stylist) and begged her to take them out for me. I was SHOCKED once they were removed and I seen the damage that Heather had done. Damage my hair is STILL trying to recover from. The pile of hair in the floor when they took Heather’s extensions out was unbelievable. There was a lady beside me getting her extensions moved up. Her’s had been in for 8 weeks and she hadn’t had even 50% of the amount of “shedding” as I had in just one week. “Shedding” is what Heather used to describe breakage from improper install. The stylist that removed them said it looked like Heather started the install strong, but by the end was rushing and improperly installed them. My hair was significantly shorter than it was when Heather installed the extensions. Not only shorter, but so choppy. I haven’t allowed anyone else to touch my hair since Heather in about October of ‘23. I can’t stress enough, when I say butchered, I mean absolutely butchered. My fault, I shouldn’t have trusted her. There were certainly red flags and I ignored them all. Fast forward to now. My daughter goes to her March 1st or so. Right from the jump she tells my daughter that her appointment was at 1 (my daughter has the message where she told her 12) whatever, mistakes happen. Now my daughter is a darker brown right now and was very upfront about knowing she could not go from brown to blonde in one setting. What she wasn’t expecting though was to walk out of there with some parts of her hair being brown, other parts orange with streaks of over-toned blonde at the top that were purple tinted. The “black” on the underside was a deep reddish brown. She took it upon herself to tell another client while rinsing my daughters hair that my daughter had wanted to go shorter in length but Heather described herself as feeling “Ehhhhh” about that and so didn’t go shorter. Which really ended up being a blessing in disguise because people are still coming up to my daughter at school talking about how her hair is cut uneven. But, ultimately regardless of that it isn’t Heather’s call to decide how short my daughter chooses to cut her hair (even though thankfully she didn’t go shorter so there’s still some length there for someone to fix the mess she made of my daughter’s hair. Sivad itself is a cute little salon, but I have to question any salon that allows so much double/triple booking to go on."
"Bre did a great job on my highlights - I would definitely go back to her."

"Love the service I get here. Been coming for several years. It’s always a pleasant experience (even when I have to reschedule at the last minute) Thank you April! Oh and I love the way April does my hair. She has helped me to grow it out and get it healthy again. ❤️"
"Def was worth going! My friend told me to go amd Stephanie did a fantastic job and really helped me create the look I wanted. I went to many places before but she definitely won me as a regular. The whole place was super nice and the surrounding was comfortable the whole time."
