"Really disappointed in our experience at Iris and won’t be back. My daughter’s color was changed bc the technician thought the color she picked was too light. This wasn’t her choice to make and wasn’t communicated to me. Gel polish ended up being extremely thick due to the numerous coats that were put on and wouldn’t dry. The nail tech was aware we were unhappy with the polish, offered to take the gel off and redo it but after an hour and a half we were ready to just leave. There are too many other options in Murfreesboro for poor service/work. Update: a day later all of her nails have peeled off….gel polish should last much longer than 28 hours"
"I am so disappointed in this place and will never go back due to customer service. I have gone to this place for a while now. I got gel done on my hands and it didn’t even last a full week (with a manicure). I went back to get them fixed and they wouldn’t do it. I have never gone to a place that didn’t stand by their work and wouldn’t fix nails that peeled off under a weeks time. So disappointing."
"This place is my go to nail salon. I’ve been going here for almost a year now and i’ve never had an issue with my nails. It’s hard to believe some of the bad reviews honestly. The whole staff is friendly and the prices are reasonable. My nails usually last 3-4 weeks and I never have issues with chipping breaking or cracking. I absolutely love iris nail spa and I recommend this place to anyone looking for a new nail salon."
"I went in on Sunday the 27th (on my birthday) and asked for a pedicure and full set of acrylics with tips. I got the iris pedicure with gel polish and the nail tech did not use cuticle softener on my toes so she ended up cutting my skin on two of my toes and she had finished the pedicure and I had to ask for the hot towel that was included in my service because she forgot. I had asked for French tips on my nails but instead of white I wanted blue because these were my baby shower nails. I also showed her an inspo picture (included below) and I was not expecting the exact same results just similar. If she was unable to do it then she should’ve told me. She started on my nails. There is layers and layers of powder that was not absorbed fully by the monomer. She had also cut my skin on 3 different nails. There was areas on the sides of my nails where there was no acrylic whatsoever. My nails were so thick and uneven and because of that she had to use a basic coat and it was way too light. I felt so bad for crying and making a scene. I’m not a confrontational person at all and I told her that I’m sorry I’m really sensitive right now because of the hormones but I really don’t like how my nails are turning out. Im 8 months pregnant btw. I went to the bathroom to calm down and I told her I just want them all blue and with gems on the ring finger. I paid $117 not including tip because I still tipped. I don’t know why. There’s a lot of I should’ve done this or that but I was so tired and upset I wanted to leave as quickly as possible. It’s obvious with the giant wall of dip powder that that’s what they specialize in so I wouldn’t go unless that’s what you’re looking for."
"Went two weeks ago and the girl that did my nails did an amazing job with my gel mani pedi. I think her name was Game but I could be wrong. Went today and left disappointed. I asked for coffin nails and didn’t like how they came out. Two were crooked, too much of the tip was white, and honestly the shape was more square than coffin shaped. Paid 77 plus 15 tip. I will def give them another shot but will stick with the girl who did my nails the first time."
