"Jen Young did an amazing job with my nails!! I've never had someone able to do it exactly how I wanted! She was extremely meticulous and made sure they were perfect!! Will absolutely be going back to her!!"
"The people here do a great job and are so accommodating. I go all the time for a quick mani dip on my lunch breaks. Recently took my teen to get her nails done for a special treat and she had a vision of what she wanted. The nail tech went through quite a few colors with us trying to find the right ones. He was so kind and patient and my daughter got exactly what she was hoping for."
"I went in for a birthday Mani Pedi on Friday. My pedicure wasn’t bad but my tech never spoke to me, didn’t ask about water temp, preferences of any kind, literally not a word the whole time. It’s fine, some people are quieter. Then we start my manicure and the station I’m at is disturbingly dirty, not just today dirty, it had been dirty for a while. I had already mentioned several times being allergic to gel (it was insisted on by the manager and another tech that greeted me when I came in - they REALLY like gel) but I’m REALLY allergic and I made sure to tell the tech as soon as we sat down because there was so filthy. She spent 15 minutes on my manicure, cut my cuticles, filed my nails, threw some paint on, and walked away. Never asked if they looked okay. As I’m holding my hands over a fan built into the table, the manager notices me checking out my nails and asked if everything was okay. I politely said “I’m just noticing a few thin spots in the polish” and before I could finish, he replies “well that’s what happens when you use regular Polish” and started talking to his client again - never looked at them or said anything else, he was even the one to check me out and take my payment. Never asked to even glance at them. I was flabbergasted, but it was my birthday and I wasn’t going to ruin my day over a bad manicure and a rude manager. Then when I get home I realize the tech had smudged something clear on 2 of my fingers immediately washing my hands, and later realizing it was gel, which I started multiple times being allergic to. Now I have painful blisters on my hands on top of it all. I’m am so dissatisfied by the whole experience and if this post saves even one person from the awful experience I had, this rant will be worth it."
"Update: they reached out to me personally and offered to completely redo them for me. They did a wonderful job of making sure my less positive experience was corrected. I came to the salon last Friday, I was really excited to get my nails done for the first time in a while for my senior pictures. The staff was overall friendly, but when they sat me down, they definitely rushed through my nails. There was very little nail prep and 90% of my nails are not symmetrical and have dips or bumps in them which take away from the actual shape I wanted (short coffin). I just felt as if they were rushed to close, I really wanted to try out this salon and unfortunately it just didn’t work out for me."
