"I would not recommend Tesla because of the service. Each and every service worker should and could be replaced by an AI bot. At least when dealing with an AI bot you will get correct information. Misinformation cost me $250, 2 order fees for 1 vehicle. Plus I had to travel 500 miles to pick up my vehicle, when the same vehicle was available locally. The service workers are more aptly described as process facilitators, robotically rigid in their application (no exceptions made ever, even in the event of a human error), but highly susceptible to human error. Worst experience ever. Seriously considering selling my tesla, a car that I like very much so I will never have to deal Tesla's process facilitators ever again!"
"Impossible to get a hold of on the phone. The two reps in the service center were cool. But the maintenance takes for ever! 3 days for an AC issue. They didn't get me a loaner car until the second day and said they can't do Uber credits anymore."
"Waiting on a refund for months now. With no contact from the manger Nathaniel Washington. Called for a month now. Service was done in October 2023. Telsa Goodwill the cost of the repair. And suppose to refund a tow. Now still waiting for a response. Had a battery replaced the next day it quit working so had to have towed took another 2 weeks to repair. Now its February and still waiting for a response."
"I purchased my Model Y on December 28. I contacted the location twice with questions which I was told, "read the information." On December 30, I flew to Memphis with a cashier's check in hand not knowing if I would actually be driving my Tesla off the lot; however, I did take delivery that day. As of January 24, I had not received my registration packet so I contacted the location via email. No response. I emailed a second time on January 26. I did receive a response stating, "The registration packet was shipped on 1/11/2024" from Char. She did include a tracking number which I promptly entered and attempted to file a claim for the missing package. UPS referred me back to Tesla as they never received the package. I emailed the location again to advise. Courtney replied on January 27, that she would request the registration team to locate the packet and sent it out. I have checked the tracking number again January 28 and 29. UPS still has no record of receiving the packet. I have attempted to contact the location by phone. I am now waiting on hold (currently 18 mins) for someone to answer the call. I love the Model Y and have no issues with it; however, the customer support is extremely lacking."
