"I only came two times, and they were my last. I tried to give her a chance. The first time I came, she urged me to get the braids she wanted and proceeded to make them like she wanted after I paid $300 for knotless braids. If I'm getting overpriced for some braids, I should get the braids I want. I told her to give me bigger and longer braids, and she finally did them the way I wanted after telling me a 100 different times how I should get them done smaller because I have a lot of hair. Throughout the whole 6 hours I kept having to tell her what it was I wanted, and her daughter had to convince her to do them the way I wanted. Thank you God! I brought pictures and everything, it was not hard to give me large knotless braids. I might be making assumptions but by the way she sounded she didn't want to give me large KL braids because she would have to use 4-5 packs of her hair. Keep in mind, that the second time I came I brought 5 packs of the same brand and they was cheap. At the end when she finished my hair, I saw FIRE light up in the back of my head because I wasn't paying attention but she blew it away real quick and I was shocked but didn't say much. She would go through each strand with fire, and I learned that that was the last time I wanted my hair near fire. She was trying to get rid of the hair left over from the braids, but I can't stand anyone putting fire near my hair. I take too much care of my hair to trust anyone with fire near it. And honestly, you never know people's intentions, especially a new braider's intentions, with your hair so you better take care of it before you go bald. The second time, I was really through with it. What got me going was how I had brought 5 packs of hair, I paid $300, and she was very unprofessional. She showed up late, when I arrived she wasn't there, so she told me to go somewhere because she was going to be late, and proceeds to do my hair the same way with small braids. Not to mention, she had the same attitude as last time but I tried to be as polite as I could both times I was there. She would stand there and argue with you over what you want. I should have known the first time because people's character saids everything about who they are. She talks bad about everyone under the sun. Don't give $600 to a braider that is going to make your life miserable for 5-6 hours throughout both appointments. It's not worth your time. She's got a negative, miserable, and controlling aura. I've went to plenty of different appointments but this was one of the worst, I love my new braider her space is clean, she offers me food and drinks, and prioritizes giving me a good experience with a good time for $250. I almost forgot to mention that this lady charges more for larger braids than smaller ones, and my new braider charges less for larger braids and more for smaller. On the positive, she did finish my hair off how I wanted both times after having to saying it a thousand times with the help of her daughter. I feel bad for her daughter. I'm never going back there again. God help her."
