"BEWARE. If I could give zero stars, I would. Spend your money ANYWHERE else. The “stylist” Madelyn, did my hair and I couldn’t be more upset/appalled at the lack of knowledge for coloring and color removal as well as the blatant lack of respect for the customer on the part of both Madelyn and who I assume was the person in charge, Mandy. Neither introduced themselves to me so I had to assume/ask. I asked for a cut and color removal so that I could get all over color that would match my roots. I made it clear that I was growing out my roots and didn’t want color remover on them. The stylist said she’d try to keep it off my roots because the remover could lighten them. She did not. By the end of the processing time, I had multiple sections with level 8/9 HOT ROOTS. I expressed my concerns and was brushed off. “You just have to trust the process,” was what Madelyn chose to tell me. No apology. No acknowledgment that she’d done exactly what she said she wouldn’t do. She then began to add the color, without discussing the shades with me and I had to ask what she was putting on my hair. She was very rough with her application and by the time, I was under the processing dryer, my scalp was irritated. The longer I sat there, the more irritated my scalp became. It was burning to the point that I had to remove the dryer head and sit additional time without heat. After a few minutes, I couldn’t stand the burn any longer and asked to be rinsed by another stylist who had to call Madelyn over, because Madelyn was nowhere to be seen. While rinsing, she was rough with me again. I asked her to be gentle and she didn’t respond. I asked if she heard me and she only said, “‘mmhmm.” That’s when Mandy came over and began inspecting my scalp. She stated that it did not appear burnt and that was all she would say. I told them at that point that I had to leave with wet hair because I was already long over the time I was supposed to be there and no one was making any attempt to rectify the situation. They went on the charge me the full amount, $250, and still made no apologies, only excuses. Mandy refused to believe what I told her had happened with Madelyn. I told her a review would be coming about this disaster of an experience and she only said, “that’s fine.” I got home to find a splotchy mess. The color didn’t cover Madelyn’s handy work with the remover. I’ve never felt so betrayed and belittled by a salon in my life. TRUST ME. Go. Somewhere. Else."

"Madelyn is great! Very knowledgeable about hair and so nice. I get nervous about people cutting my hair since I like my length, but she did great! Made sure about the length I wanted cut off and even did layers to frame my face. I will definitely be using her to cut my hair from now on!"

"We love this salon. Melissa is the only person my son will let cut his hair. We used to live right around the corner but moved to Munford and we will still make the drive to have Melissa cut our hair. The shop is clean and there is a nice waiting area with a vending machine. There is plenty of parking also which is good because the shop seems to be pretty busy all the time."
