Reviews of JJ Nails Spa
"I was in today for a pedicure. Leslie was the lady that did this for me and I absolutely had the BEST experience! She was attentive, professional and it was the best pedicure I have had in a long time!"
"I want to complement the whole staff at JJ nail and spa. Not only are they polite, caring , understandable, and listen to exactly how you want things done. Their work is incredible. I highly recommend them for your services. I have been going to Mrs. Sandy since I was 16. Whenever she is unavailable, I am always put with somebody who work is just as good as hers. 5 star for sure !"
"Absolutely horrible service done by the nail tech Sandy. I paid $82. I would rather let my little sister do my nails. I’m sure if you request a different nail tech it would be fine but Sandy does not take her time at all. The sign on the door says walk ins welcome which is why I chose this salon. I was seated very quickly only because another poor girl was 2 minutes late for her appointment:( I would rather have waited than take her appointment but she starts at my cuticles and is vernot ask for sandy. We get to the tip process and she chose tips that were too small for my natural nails so she then start the acrylic and does quite literally the worst “professional “ application I have ever seen. I had nails that weren’t even covered in acrylic, my natural nail was still showing! And the application wasn’t consistent either! Some of my nails are thicker than the others. I was hoping she would go back and fix it after she finished my other hand but she sadly drilled it to make it appear normal. Then we get to the polish. I asked for a simple French tip and it started out smooth until I noticed she wasn’t filling in the sides she then brings out a clean brush to fix up mistakes which I was grateful for until I pulled my nails out of the lamp and her mistakes were still there."
"Go here and ask for Leslie! I am 37 weeks pregnant and so miserable, so I wanted a good pedicure. She took her time and did a great massage, my toes look amazing, and she was so sweet. Great conversationalist! This is the best experience in a nail salon I have ever had. If you are looking for quality, ask for her!"
"The first time I went there, it was perfect. The second time, was the worst experience I ever had with my nails. I thought I was so fortunate to get the same nail tech I had the first time. I wanted a French manicure. So she had to take off old dip powder she used the first time. Problem was, she used so much dip powder, it was embedded in my natural longs. So she put fingernail polish remover in a warmer and continued a pattern of soaking them and using a drill. After the forth time, I seen my nails breaking. I asked her, is that my nails breaking off. She said yes. Then she kept repeating that my nails were acrylic. I couldn't make her understand that my nails were real. So she called another nail tech over. She also didn't believe me. I said, your are supposed to be professionals and you can't tell real nails from acrylic. I had worked so hard to grow my nails long and she destroyed them. The nail techs had each other's back and had no care or sympathy for what they had done to me. They both wanted me to feel like I was so stupid. What is the purpose of fingernail polish remover? TO REMOVE NAIL POLISH AND PRODUCT!!! If acetone can remove acrylic nails, why couldn't they break natural nails down so thin they start to break? THEY CAN AND THEY DID!!!!! She soaked my nails to long in a heated warmer full of nail polish remover. She wanted to get out the nail polish that was embedded in my nails. Because she wouldn't listen to be about my nails being real, she kept repeating that pattern until she damaged then so badly. I was crying and I told them, you think I would be sitting here crying because my fake nails were breaking. It was common sense and they wanted me to feel like I didn't know anything. They said all they could do was cut them even and put tips on. The clincher.....THEY WERE STILL GOING TO CHARGE MR FULL PRICE!!!! They should be ashamed for being deceitful and having no human compassion. They may be licensed but they are by NO MEANS PROFESSIONAL OR COMPASSIONATE. THEY ARE A DISGRACE TO EVERYONE IN THE NAIL PROFESSION!!! I leave a lot of reviews and I'm telling you all......YOU WILL BE SORRY IF YOU GO THERE.....SO DONT. LOOK CAREFULLY at my pictures and see just how professional they really are. Second picture is what I went in there with. First picture is what I left with. STAY AWAY!!!!!! I don't want this happening to anyone else."
