"Always kind, patient with me and my disability. Good information for my dental health and seems to always have the patient's best interest in mind. If you're super anxious like me regarding the dentist these are the guys for you!"
"I would never recommend this place to anyone! We have had so many issue but mistakenly kept seeing them as they were close to home and took our insurance. First issue was a couple of years ago. My husband went in to have one tooth looked at and left with 4 different follow up appointments to do work several teeth. Of course the tooth that was bothering him (the only one he was having issues) was scheduled to be fixed last. He set up a payment plan but somehow by the last appointment they decided he needed a cap instead of a root canal on the last tooth and it was over $400 more (idk why a cap cost more than a root canal but ok). The dentist started doing the work and my husband informed him he could still feel everything. The dentist stopped and said they would have to refer him somewhere else. So thousands of dollars spent and didn’t even get the tooth that he was bothering him repaired. Fast forward to this year my 5 year old had a cavity that Kingston dental had been “treating” for over a year. They said it didn’t need filled but just kept “treating” it. Well it started bothering her so badly to the point she couldn’t eat or drink. I called to get an emergency appointment. They got her in and said oh yeah it needs to be filled but we don’t do that here. So we had to find a different dentist and wait 2 months just to get her in. She ended up having to go to children’s and be given antibiotics because it became infected. When we saw the new dentist they could not believe Kingston dental had not filled it earlier. And the last straw was today.. My oldest child has had an appointment scheduled for MONTHS to have his yearly cleaning and to put a new cap on a tooth that he lost. This tooth has been bothering him but when I called back in the summer November was the soonest they could get him in. That’s fine. However, fast forward to today I call and double check the time so I know what times to take off work and I was informed they canceled his appointment and no longer take his insurance. Here is the kicker, we actually had new insurance that started September 1st (that I previously called and confirmed with them they accepted) so if we would have received a call or text or something we could have let them know before they just canceled his appointment. So now I have a kid that hasn’t had a yearly cleaning, has a cap that fell off and tooth hurting and I’m looking at trying to find a new dentist that takes his insurance and then waiting MONTHS again just to get him a new appointment somewhere else."
"I think it’s beyond absurd that you have chosen just just throw your young patients away and not see them any longer even with their covered insurance. Just because she 6 years old. You’ve seen all 3 of my kids for years but then bam all of a sudden you will only see the teenagers and not the 6 year old. And I don’t know but to me that’s creepy that you only want to see and treat teenagers all the way up to 20 years of age. And when asked the reasoning the lady at the desk said nothing was wrong with their insurance. It was the dentist choice and his decision to just stop seeing kids under the age of 12. That’s just wrong and not how you should do so called “professional business”. So I guess we will go elsewhere from now on."
"My wife and I have been patients at Kingston Dental for several years. Last week, due to a different medical condition, I needed assistance from Kingston Dental. Near Kingston Dental's closing time, I asked for and received help. The staff from receptionist, office manager, and Drs. Stebelton and Bery responded. Without going into a lot of detail, my situation was handled thoughtfully and professionally by the whole staff. I highly recommend Kingston Dental."
"I'm a new patient and just had an appointment at Kingston Dental. A real nice crew. I was a bit nervous coming in, but everything was explained to me and they made me feel very welcome. I will be back in six months for my cleaning."
