"Buyer Beware! Please read before ordering custom boots. I ordered 2 pair of custom Lucchese boots last February (2023) to the tune of $6,000. I was told they could take up to a year. Makes sense, I ordered custom boots and they are handmade and there's a line of people in front of me. Summer comes and one of two pair arrive; they are not custom at all. When we call to express the boots don't fit and no custom measurements were applied, I'm told I'm not putting them on correctly. I've worn boots my entire life, I think I can figure it out. They called later to own up to having submitted my $6k order without the custom measurements. Wow, talk about a gross oversight - they submitted a custom boot order without the custom measurements? Yikes. I inquire if my boots will be placed at the front of the line since this error was theirs and 5 months were lost creating boots I didn't order. Of course they will and I'll have them by November, I'm told. Early December, we call to get an update on my boots. It took about a month to stop getting the run around and I was finally told that January I could expect my boots. Called again in late Janaury, no follow up from them. Are you surprised? I'm not. After a call with Corporate, they tell us they can see the updates that were provided to the Nashville store that were never delivered to us. Boots are now expected by April. The Corporate office promised a call in 48 hours from a manager. No call. And let me add, the pair of boots they sent me in error over the summer - they wanted those returned immediately. So now they have had our $6k for nearly a year and have likely been able to sell their beautiful error boots since they were made in their standard size. They are now potentially $12k to the good on my purchase. A nice reward for a giant FAILURE on their end. What do I have? No boots. And not even one attempt to try to right their wrong. Just some of the worst customer service I've ever experienced, especially for a luxury brand."
"Horrible experience. My husband and I shop here frequently and I had a horrible experience shopping by myself for him as a Christmas gift. I went about three weeks before Christmas and the associates did not approach. I specifically went into the store knowing they made commission and wanted to help them during the holidays. After asking for help, it seemed like a bother. I asked if they could check if they had my husbands shoe, they said they checked in the back and reported to me they didn’t have the shoe and they would check the warehouse online. He “checked” and I had to approach him after 15 minutes of waiting and he apologized because he forgot to tell me they had them in stock. It wouldn’t be a big deal, but he was on his phone the whole time and was more worried about working with online customers than with in person. Plus, we were literally the only customers in the store…. Additionally, the lady who helped me check out apparently didn’t select the correct shoe and did not order them correctly, and then I heard literally three different stories about why my husbands boots didn’t arrive in time for Christmas. First, that the lady didn’t select the correct shoe or toe size (definitely have no idea what she was taking about), then that they weren’t ordered and they hadn’t even shipped after almost two weeks of “ordering” and then that they didn’t pass inspection. I’m not sure which is true. We didn’t receive them until around January 5th. Very unprofessional in the store and clearly they could work on communication. I never received one email about updates, shipping information, purchase proof or the calls they said they would return to me regarding this mistake. And these aren’t just a few hundred dollar boot… we are talking a very expensive pair. I most definitely will not be shopping in store for my husband again. They clearly don’t deserve the commission or business in store."
"Walked in fully prepared to buy a new pair of boots for my fiancé today. Didn’t get greeted by a single employee the entire 15 minutes inside while shopping. Wouldn’t recommend buying from this store. Much better stores and much better workers elsewhere."
"I was disappointed in Lucchese Nashville store. We came to purchase a specific pair of boots. They were not available at the location. My husband tried on multiple pairs he liked, but they had very limited stock in his size. They were also not able to be purchased and shipped as they weren’t available at other stores/ online. He wears a size 12. The most disappointing part was that we felt the customer service was poor. The store was crowded. There were many people looking around and it made it hard to walk in the store. We were never offered drinks while others around us were. The sales woman was not knowledgeable and while not rude, she wasn’t friendly. We felt unwanted in the store even though we were buying boots. After we left I decided I didn’t want to go back and started buying boots elsewhere"
"I have owned two pairs of Lucchese boots for 10 years now, and the fit and finish is better than most. On a recent visit to Nashville I wanted to check out some of their non western boots. I ended up buying a pair of Lucchese bison derby boots. The staff was nice, attentive and took the time to assist me. I was a bit nervous reading some of these one star reviews. However my experience would say these 1 star reviews are unfounded."
