Reviews of Adam Cottrill, DMD
"The new owner/dentist, Dr. Cottrill, at this office is not a licensed prosthodontist, only a general dentist. A bit overconfident and zealous about taking money then not being able to deliver a prosthetic. Communication isn’t sufficient. Consideration of your time and money spent is shockingly not a consideration for the general dentist at this location... Materials used for implants/restoration are not top quality and have been banned for hip replacement usage. (cobalt chromium, wow, it's a known allergen ;) I gladly moved past this provider to a real prosthodontist more than 6 months ago.. It’s been a good move. NCID’s work was broken and middle ages dentistry in comparison. It caused me migraines, allergies and TMJ pain due to ill fit and quality issues. I nearly lost an implant due to a broken prosthetic. He just takes your money and ignores your needs and his mistakes/design flaws. He is no master even though "he says he is". His staff is afraid to stand up to him even though they know something needs to be remade. The staff changes far too frequently. Sad….. he should humble himself a bit. He is just so young and horribly snide/rude after you pay, of course. Save your money and time for your restoration needs. I wasted 2 whole years. This office doesn’t stand fully behind their work. You shouldn’t have to beg for repairs when you make such a large investment only to be blown off or blamed with a broken and painful dental appliance. Affordable Dentures actually made a more durable/hypoallergenic prosthetic with my very first cheapo “healing” set in 2015. Even affordable dentures uses higher quality materials. I've gone from the bottom to the top with this quest for mouth restoration... it sadly didn't end here though. Cost comparisons made me realize there is much better available at a lower prices from a different much more affluent and well reviewed Prosthodontist in our area. My new smile, made by an actual licensed prosthodontist, is durable (zirconia all on 6, unbreakable, top and bottom) and finally fits comfortably for far less cost than what Dr. Cottrill quoted me. Best of all it’s made with highest quality materials, hypoallergenic and safe for my health. All the headaches, pain and rash caused by Dr. Cottrill's low quality dental appliance are gone. Go to a real prosthodontist! Dr. Cotrrill isn't capable or properly licensed/trained to deliver this level of quality. The biggest difference between a prosthodontist and a general dentist is that a prosthodontist deals with replacing teeth and restoring your oral health and function throughout your entire mouth. General dentists focus on repairing teeth and ensuring that they remain healthy. Some additional things that set prosthodontists apart from general dentists include: Up to three years of additional training through an ADA-accredited program is required to become a prosthodontist Prosthodontists handle complex dental cases, including jaw surgery, dentures, implants, and more Prosthodontists also offer veneers, crowns, and bridges to restore and replace teeth Find a better option! This is the world we are living in. Be careful out there!"
"Dr. Cottrill and his staff are so friendly and professional that I actually look forward to visiting their office. My husband had an appointment this week and I went with him just because I had the day off! Since I was there, the doctor took a look at me also - just to see how my recent procedure was healing."
