"Worked there. I feel sorry for the people who has gotten taken advantage of. Touch not my anointed do my prophet no harm. Dr. Heflin was a great young dentist. May God bless"
"I was so happy with this place to begin with because it meant I could afford to have dental work done. They kept canceling and it took me forever to get my crown done. Afterwards it never fit right and it hurts but they were no help, all they said is it shouldn't hurt as if I was lying. But I didn't learn my lesson. I paid for 3 teeth to have multiple fillings and they cancelled over and over until now when I guess they have been closed all this year and I cannot contact anyone to get a refund. By the time I gave up and went to another dentist those fillings turned into root canals. They never respond to messages, texts, calls, Facebook messages, etc and now the phone appears to be disconnected. If anyone knows how to contact them please help me. I need my money back."
"Wish I could leave a 0. This place is horrible for assisting elderly persons! My mom has been trying to get assistance with her dentures that they made over a year ago. They lie and falsify records. Open at convenience and don't return calls promptly. We are exhausted and moving forward with research outside to resolve her issues. If are a medicaid recipient and have not resolved your issues contact Medicaid fraud department. They want to hear from you"
"I had a wisdom tooth that was abcessed. I have no dental insurance and as a result, haven't been to a dentist in years. They got me in quickly and got the infection cleared up and the tooth pulled. The charges were affordable and fair. I'm very happy with the care I had"
"Started my adventure with "Helping Hands" back in October 2022. Made an appointment to have a bad tooth looked at to see what my options were. They canceled. This appointment was rescheduled to November 22nd. They canceled again. Rescheduled to November 28th. They canceled again, equipment issues this time. Rescheduled to December 15th, they actually kept this appointment, and after a two hour wait past my appointment time, I got an xray and a prescription for antibiotics for my now swollen rotting tooth. Next appointment December 27th, canceled due to weather. Called and reminded them I finished the course of antibiotics and was out of them, they called in a 2nd prescription for antibiotics. Next appointment scheduled for January 3rd 2023. Drove an hour and 15 minutes to keep the appointment only to read a note on the door stating all appointments canceled. No prior call or notice. Called and got another appointment for January 9th. Drove an hour and 15 minutes again to read a note on the door stating all appointments canceled. Again no prior call or notice. Borrowed money from a relative and went to a real clinic four days later and had the tooth removed. Five minute wait to be seen, zero pain during removal, and out the door. The Helping Hands case worker on site that offers assistance with food and clothing is a bright beautiful young lady that I believe does her best. I do commend the dentist and her dental assistants at Helping Hands for their efforts and I am sure noble intentions. Clinics are a complex machine requiring many moving parts and it only takes a few rough gears to tarnish the end product. I present only my unique experience and you can think what you will of it. This is less a story of scheduling incompetence or a jaded lack of compassion as it is a story about the haves and the have nots. If you are poor, your garbage. You wait hours in line or hours after appointment times, because really who cares? Do you pay enough to expect more? Your just more of the huddled masses paying, yes 50% less than normal dental pricing, but at what real cost? There is a lot more going on here then just appointments canceled without notice or the endless faces corralled through places like this while being treated with jaded contempt at the front desk. And after all this frustration and pain in my efforts to fix or remove this tooth, what did they do? They texted me a link to leave a review on the very day I made a long drive to read a note on the door telling me once again that my gas and time had been wasted."
