"I've been going to Jimmy Gray Chevrolet for about 6yrs now with no real serious complaints; however, I had a 2nd install of a set of tires put on my truck on Wednesday, 2/28. The purchase totaled to be $772--paid without incident. My issue is, this is the 2nd install that I've received and both times, my tire pressure sensors were effected and were of no use afterwards. During the first install in 2021, I was told that my sensors were out after the tires were installed and Walmart informed me why/what may have happened when JGC couldn't provide me with any information. This time, JGC called to inform me that 3 sensors would need to be replaced as I only replaced one in 2021 with Walmart. When I received my truck back on 2/28, the replaced sensor was no longer reading as well. JGC quoted me $100/sensor so that wouldve been an extra $300 in addition to an install. Now, my issue is, this service is a disservice to customers as I shouldNOT have to purchase sensors every time I buy a set of tires. Its absurd and I've never had to do this on any vehicle I've ever had. It seems to me that this is done intentionally for up-sell purposes. I didn't complain the 1st time but this time...i received my truck back with now all 4 sensors out again and being quoted I would only need 3....now I'm back to needing 4. If tires cannot be removed without having to replace sensors each time, that seems like a manufacturer's issue and shouldn't be a burden to the customer. Can someone provide me with a logical answer?"
"Jimmy Gray was the best place to go to to get your car looked at, but recently the service has gone down hill. The prices are going up and the quality has definitely gone down. I bought my car here and get it serviced here, the last time I went a got an oil charge, THE MECHANIC never twisted my oil cap back tight; causing my check engine light to come and when I called them about it, they were to busy to talk to me and never return my car."
"Jimmy Grey Chevrolet is always a pleasure whether purchasing or servicing you GM car, and their employees are fantastic."
"Took my brother in law there so have his car looked at they made everything seem easy as far as getting you on and out and they seem very knowledgeable"
"Did not take pictures, but I showed up without an appointment and they replaced my battery that day. The price was VERY reasonable and everyone was quite nice."
