At 4:00, I left Dr. Clark’s office after a painless and perfect looking tooth bonding, and with a plan to address any potential future problems. Of course, that quick an appointment and that good an outcome might not always be possible, but I have always had excellent and compassionate care there over many years. "Friendly staff and I am not the best dental patient. I had 4 fillings done on upper molars, left and right. We decided to split the two sides up. There was no problem on my left side. When I came back and had the right side taken care of, Dr Clark numbed me. He drilled and asked if I wanted silver fillings or standard. He said silver lasted longer so I went with those. I distinctly remember the doctor slipping down the side of my tooth with the drill. Of course, there was not any pain, as I was numbed, but there was pressure and grinding sound. I could tell that this was an unintentional movement. He never mentioned that i might have pain after the fillings or that silver might react differentially, never mentioned that he had somewhat drilled into the side of my tooth. When the numbing agent wore off. I had a toothache n cold/hot pain on the spot that was inadvertently drilled. I called n rescheduled, telling the receptionist that I was having pain where he had drilled the side of my tooth. I just came from that appointment where the doctor came across as very condescending. First, it was that the pain was coming from the bottom of my tooth instead of the side and then secondly, the pain was coming from the tooth behind it and I just couldn't tell where the pain in "MY" mouth was coming from, and thirdly, that silver fillings may take longer to "settle in". Bottom line, the doctor just didn't want to take responsibility for his mistake and left a customer dissatisfied and looking for a different dentist."
