About the Tennessee Dental Spa
day to show them the abscess that was clearly visible on the X-ray that was taken the day before. The male dentist confirmed the abscess and prescribed antibiotics. 2.) Billing department billed my insurance incorrectly resulting in a large bill that was not covered. Multiple calls were made to the office to rectify the situation, but it took several weeks to resolve. Overall, I would not recommend this office for dental care.

Reviews of Tennessee Dental Spa
"They put sealants on me when is 17…? I did per the instructions, but other dentists have told me that it was weird and they did it for profit bc you put sealants on little children. NOW 10 yrs later the sealants they put on me have cavities under them and I never have had a history of cavities until now. I always had subpar customer service and everything felt for impersonal and 10 yrs later i am still regretful of ever seeing these people. Every time I came here, I saw a different dentist and the last one I saw didn’t seem like he had much of a clue. He didn’t seem very competent to explain what was happening with my jaw. Let alone the fact that the shot was so painful because they did not listen to me when I was telling them that that’s not the spot they numbed They also filled a cavity for me, and completely injected the anesthetic missing the spot where they numbed. It was the most painful thing... ! My jaw locked up and wouldn’t open. The dental hygienist did not know what to do because my jaw was clenched/ not opening. I ended up having to push my jaw forward to get my mouth to open! It was so freaking scary. ."
"This was one of the worst experiences of my life. I went in to get upper and lower dentures. this to me was a big deal. After talking me into partials (which i know was my fault for agreeing) they put me to sleep pulled by teeth and I was sent home. I woke up the next morning to put my partials in and cried. they were awful, neither top or bottom fit, and the bottoms looked like i had teeth bulging out of my mouth. They looked awful. Finally I talked them into making me another set. i received my second set, (which still does not look good) and the day before i was suppose to go back and get them adjusted. they call and stated, they no longer take my insurance. I had already paid $160 to have my real teeth left, whitened. They cancelled my appointment. I still have not been back to have them adjusted, and since the wire has fallen out of my top one. This process above has taken 4 years. 4 years and $10, 000 later ($7000 of this was from the insurance company) i still have not gotten my partials adjusted, and they have not paid me back my $160. They told me the company had went bankrupt. I even spoke to a lawyer and filed a claim with the bankruptcy. And last but not least, they told me the set i have is just the first set. (which is not made out of the material the main set will be made of, the first set is only the adjusting set) its not the set I was paying for. Please, if you value your money, time and the quality of your product. DO NOT GO HERE!"
"My daughter had oral surgery and two days before the procedure I was told another dentist would be doing her procedure because her dentist went on vacation. Mind you we had been waiting for this date for about a month and had paid the deposit plus the dentist bill as well. Which the credit account was billed for both before we even made it to the clinic for the procedure, which seems weird to me. Note, their employee said vacation not family emergency. Also, my husband was initially told $945 for the anesthesiologist, which was to be paid out of pocket which is 1 hour of work, then when I followed up it with questions for clarification it had been adjusted to be 1.5 hours. Then the day before when the anesthesiologist called it had miraculously made it to 2 hours and all of this was based off the same set of xrays. At this point we had waited so long and just wanted to get it over with so of course the new dentist, which neither of us knew, took exactly 2 hours. If you quote 1 hour and tell the client expect an extra 1/2 hour I just do not understand the additional 1/2 hour on top of it. I wouldn't have minded paying the 1.5 but 2 hours is outrageous. They are simply taking more money than necessary and I am looking for a new dentist for my family because they do not give me any comfort about their prices and if you can't be reasonable about that then I question your expertise. Nevertheless, the staff tries to smile and put on a good face but at this point I wouldn't put anything past them. Also, there were no follow up directions from the dentist and for like procedures online recommendations usually say to do a follow up in a couple weeks to make sure the child is doing well but not here. They get paid and wait to take your money again. Good luck if you choose them but beware of your charges and question everything. So, thank you for not really leaving us with much of an option Clarksville Dental Spa; hopefully the work was done right but who knows."
"At the suggestion of a dentist I was aggressive with getting a filling. I’m not placing blame but for what ever reason the filling was faulty and I fractured my tooth. Two months of trying to get an appointment with them and agonizing pain before they finally addressed my calls. I drove from Old hickory to Clarksville multiple times, and hours of waiting to have the appointments later canceled. I paid hundreds of dollars have spent between commute and waiting - total of ten hours just in the appointments that were ultimately canceled after my waiting. I had a root canal then went back for a crown. 3 times my temporary broke. 4 times my permanent had to be adjusted. And less then a year after my permanent my crown completely broke. I keep calling and get pushed around. They have permanently destroyed my mouth and I am thousands of dollars in debt. I am now forced to have the tooth removed because I have no money and they won’t fix it."
"Overall very positive. Sometimes there is a little wait to start appointments but I would say on average, less than most medical/ dental offices. Once I had to wait about 25 minutes to get in for my cleaning. I told them that I was not going to have time to do the cleaning and would have to re-schedule. They were very understanding. I have found the staff to be caring and professional. I would rather they take their time to make sure that they do a good job than rush through to stay exactly on schedule. Have been a patient there for more than three years, and I have tried a lot of dentists. This one is the best I have found so far. They make going to get dental work much less stressful than it might otherwise be."
