Reviews of Hendersonville Public Library
"This was the worst experience I’ve ever experienced at a Public library. I came to use the computer and print out some documents. The lady wasn’t helpful nor friendly just nice nasty. She tried to over charge me for printing like I can’t count . Most racist environment ever wish I could give 0 stars"
"Super friendly, attentive staff. Very clean and comfortable."
"Not as friendly as the Gallatin library, and seems to really love telling people they owe money and fines even if it’s $.75"
"Pros: *really nice facility--not a cozy atmosphere but newish and pleasant with plenty of space *large children's department with teens in a separate area *various activities to take part in for all ages *ample, well-maintained parking lot *easy access; good location Cons: *most unprofessional staff I've encountered (after living in several districts across the U.S.) *subpar notification system to warn you of approaching due dates, etc. (though this may have been fixed by now) * branches unconnected to allow users to borrow from all branches and have them couriered to HPL. (This means that most items I tried to borrow weren't available at all.) *The interlibrary loan system is done on paper, is unreliable, and has no online search available. *limited days/hours (which is a funding issue, not management's) Some of the cons may be due to the library's inability to keep up with rapid Sumner County growth, so I would expect (and hope for( improvements over the next couple of years. If you need a really good library system, though, as I did, I suggest getting a card with another county, too."
"This is a very pretty library! The workers are friendly and in a couple of months I plan to do a book signing event; as I am a local Author."
