"A welcoming staff, when I first walked in to this local venue! Not only is the service quick and friendly, but also they make you feel like part of the family. Delicious pizza and pretzel appetizer and so convenient to visit, located right off Gallatin in five points. Can’t wait to go back!"
"Our other favorite East Nashville bar! Plenty of Chicago memorabilia which we love because we were born there. Very low key atmosphere, friendly staff and patrons, just a chill place to be. Local corner bar feel for sure and we love that."
"Painfully awful service at this location. Red door has long been a staple among locals, but maybe some of that has gone to the service staff's heads. We came in on a Sunday for drinks which were unmeasured and very stiff, which is great for experienced drinkers but maybe not so for younger ones... but I digress. When I walked up a second transaction to ask for a pineapple back for my partner and a whiskey water for myself bartender pours well whiskey without asking what I wanted then demanded that I add more alcohol to the bill to meet a minimum. I was absolutely apaulled that after not asking me which spirit I wanted and making a well drink for me, she tried to make me get more alcohol is Overserving not a concern here? Why would you then instead of dumping the well and selling me a higher whiskey or burbon would you dump the well and argue with me the customer...Pinewood social, the fox, heck even Broadway bars will dump and remake if the guest is unhappy. What a total disappointing visit to red door in East. I WILL Likely Never return unless staff is better and couldn't possibly recommend this place to anyone, not even my worst enemy deserves to drink here."
"The Red Door Saloon in Nashville is a quintessential dive bar with an unmistakable Southern charm. As soon as you walk in, the eclectic decor — a blend of vintage signs, antiques, and kitschy artwork — offers an instant sense of comfort and nostalgia. The ambiance is laid-back and welcoming, making it the perfect spot to escape the bustle of the city. The drink menu is as no-frills as the venue itself, but they execute the classics. Whether you opt for a cold beer or a strong whiskey, you'll find that the prices are more than reasonable. But what sets this place apart is its communal atmosphere. From the bartenders to the patrons, everyone seems like they're in the mood to unwind and have a good time. You're as likely to strike up a conversation with a local as you are with a fellow tourist. In a city renowned for its music and nightlife, the Red Door Saloon manages to stand out as an authentic, down-to-earth watering hole. It's the kind of place you'll want to return to, not just for the drinks, but for the sense of community and old-school, unhurried enjoyment."
"What an eclectic bar. Great place to watch your favorite sporting event, have some grub and grab a drink! The bartender is FABULOUS! My wife and I found this little joint in a very cool part of Nashville, we were very lucky! We watched the Vikings game, they were kind enough to put it on for us even though the Titans were also playing at the same time, THANK YOU! Free parking on the street, and all kinds of cool places within a stones throw of The Red Door."
