"Went to buy shoes. The salesperson was more interested in texting on her phone than helping me out. Each time I asked a question, she would answer “yeah” and never look up from her phone. So I asked a non yes or no question to test whether or not she was listening…..she kept looking at her phone and answered “yeah”. So I left. This place used to have staff that could and would actually converse with customers, but not anymore."

"I recently decided to buy my first pair of Blundstones but wanted to purchase them in person so I could be sure the sizing was right. I figured I'd have to go to REI, but was so pleasantly surprised to find Cumberland Transit listed as an authorized retailer on Blundstone's website! I much prefer to shop locally-owned when I can, and being new to the Nashville area, had not even heard of this shop before. As soon as I approached the shoe section, I immediately had the attention of all three employees nearby, in a very attentive and helpful but not at all smothering way. One of the employees, in particular, was so helpful in helping me to decide on which color and fit I liked best, and was so kind even though I asked her to pull out at least six different boxes. She was also incredibly friendly and easy to talk to. I'm so glad I decided to shop local and will definitely be back for other outdoor-gear needs!"

"Was staying near Cumberland Transit and decided to stop in. Great shop. Great name brands. Great gifts, but even better clearance area upstairs! Employees were super friendly and knowledgeable, but not pushy. Definitely visiting here again! And also kicking myself because I saw I fleece I loved and can't get it out of my head.
