Reviews of Kroger
"One thing I can say about Kroger is when I'm looking for a vegan product out of one of the several stores that are located around my area I can always find it in one of them. Not only that, but all of the items always have a good quality to them!"
"3 stars because the sweet woman in spice isle noticed I was looking for something and helped me and suggest kroger brand all spice. Customer service for check out, turning all your lights off for check out and forcing people to do self checkout with a $800 worth of groceries is INSANE! Shame on y’all! I’m only 44 years old but the elderly with full baskets and y’all making people check themselves out with a full cart is nuts! It was only 7pm when I checked out."
"I try to go to this location only on times it should be slow. I went and bought $260 worth of groceries. There were no grapes, bagged fruit except apples, no bottled water and sale items were not stocked. Then I had to wait 30 minutes behind five full carts ahead of me. I saw numerous employees walking around. Only one cashier was working and one bagger. I helped the elderly man ahead of me unload his cart and shook my head as the managers stood near customer service laughing and chatting away. I walked up to them and asked why they would not work a register or assist the customers. The male manager said if I wanted to get through the line quicker I should do self check. I have self checked $300 grocery orders during the pandemic and crisis. This was not one of them. I have to drive to Lakland to shop at a stocked store. My son has to pick up items in Memphis because mine is out of items. This doesn’t include walking behind a bagger vaping weed into the air the last time I shopped here."
"This place is the WORST!!! The deli is awful. The people are rude. And the pickup is a complete joke! We constantly have issues with our pickup time. Tonight I waited 45 minutes past our pickup window before a guy came out and said they canceled our order bc they were short staffed. Why would they let me wait for over an hour after checking in and then not give me an order and cancel it? I couldn’t hate them anymore than I do! God I wish we had a publix here!"
"Self Check-Out worker, Delana, was extremely rude and unprofessional. I had scanned my four items at a self scan lane and upon completion selected pay with card. After 5 attempts of the card machine not reading my card swipe or chip, I advised her that something may be wrong with the machine. I asked her if this was the case she responded, “I can’t help that your card doesn’t work.” I replied, “I don’t believe it is the card, but the card machine. Is there a way for me to try a different machine.” She rolled her eyes, blew her breath and reluctantly transferred my items to her screen for me to use the card holder at her register. My card went through on the first try. With that, I emphasized further, “Yes, I believe something may be wrong with that card machine.” I understand the frustrations. It’s the end of the day on a holiday. I hate to use race or maybe even socioeconomic status assumptions as reasons for her demeanor and comment; however, I think it should be mentioned as it felt it may have applied. I would also note that my card does appear that it may have trouble with swipes or scans; however, whatever the background reasons for the backhanded disrespect was uncalled for. I will never return to this Kroger location."
