Reviews of Subway
"I regret to inform you that my recent visit to Subway was nothing short of a nightmare. Let me break down the horror show that unfolded before my very eyes: Firstly, the employees seemed to have received their training from a textbook titled "How to Be Incompetent and Disinterested 101." It was abundantly clear that they couldn't care less about the quality of their service or the satisfaction of the customers. They were more interested in checking their phones than fulfilling orders. Secondly, I searched high and low for any sign of management, but it seemed like they were playing a game of hide-and-seek that they never intended to finish. It was like the blind leading the blind, except in this case, they were all lost and stumbling around in the dark. Thirdly, let's talk about the ingredients. I'm not sure if they were aiming for "subpar" as a selling point, but if they were, they nailed it. The vegetables looked like they had been sitting out since the Stone Age, and the meat... well, let's just say I've seen more appetizing options at a gas station. But the pièce de résistance came when one of the employees decided it was appropriate to scratch an itch in the most inappropriate of places – yes, you guessed it – between his buttocks. I nearly lost my lunch right then and there. As if all of that wasn't enough, the cherry on top of this disaster sundae was the customer service. Rude doesn't even begin to cover it. It was like they were actively trying to discourage people from ever setting foot in the store again. And to add insult to injury, this sorry excuse for a Subway is located in a supposedly "good" part of town. I can't help but wonder what horrors await those who venture into the less desirable areas. In conclusion, unless you have a masochistic streak or a desire to subject yourself to the seventh circle of fast food hell, steer clear of this Subway at all costs. You'll thank me later. Or maybe not, because you'll be too traumatized to form coherent sentences."
"I recently visited this Subway location and was utterly disappointed by the quality of their sandwiches. The bread was shockingly hard and stale, leaving a unpleasant taste in my mouth with every bite. Moreover, the smell of mold emanating from the bread was unmistakable, making the entire experience unappetizing. To add insult to injury, the meat portions were pitifully small, barely filling half of the sandwich compared to other Subway locations in the area. It felt like a sad excuse for a meal, leaving me hungry and dissatisfied. Overall, I would strongly advise against visiting this Subway branch unless you have a strong affinity for disappointment and subpar sandwiches."
"Worst Subway in Knoxville! This Subway is consistently OUT of everything and an absolute mess. I only go in there when I am in a pinch on time for lunch and I regret it each and every time. Finally, I decided to write this review in hopes of this reaching some of the owners - where you guys at?? Today is just one example.. I took a late lunch around 2pm. There was only one employee working, poor guy, no management to be found, and it looked like a bomb went off behind the line. Red flags everywhere, no veggies, meats, cheeses, chips, drinks or napkins stocked (they had a roll of bathroom paper napkins on the counter to use.. really?). While I was there, 3 people actually walked back out without ordering. I ended up with a questionable meatball sandwich (it was the last meatballs in the container). I honestly should have walked out without ordering, but like I said was in a pinch and needed something fast. This location definitely needs help."
"This Subway used to be really good, but I have made my last visit there!! Waited almost 45 for a mobile order; when I finally got it, the bread was hard as a rock and the ingredients were less than desirable! There were no drinks in the cooler, the tea machine was disgusting, and the fountain drinks were mostly out. The manager may want to shut down and revamp and clean up!!"
"First off, the crew running the store are excellent. They make sandwiches however you ask in a timely manner. I have absolutely no complaints there; the problem is the new manager. I have watched in just a few days the quality take a hit. They got a new toaster which doesn't toast the sandwiches right, is slower, looks worse, and takes up more space. They also set out more vegetables which means they are warmer and less fresh than if they had been in the fridge. This manager only staffs one person in the evening which is ridiculous. On lively nights in Market Square there is way more foot traffic and more people coming to the store than one person could possibly handle, not to mention having to also prepare online order and clean the store. I think it is totally absurd to only staff one person in the store at night, and it is cruel of the manager to do so. Also, I heard the new manager doesn't feed her employees and makes them pay to eat there which is just wrong."
