"Every experience I’ve had with RBK, be at in person or through DoorDash, has been excellent. The food is always delicious, fresh, and presented beautifully. This local business deserves every bit of the high praise that it gets. The meatloaf sandwiches are out of this world, and they have (in my opinion) the best smash burgers in town. Don’t even get me started on the banana pudding. What are you waiting for? You have absolutely no reason not to visit. Don’t forget that shopping local and shopping small is a radical act. Give your money to companies that deserve it!"
"Absolutely delicious quality food at a good price. One of my favorite parts of living in SoKno is having Redbud nearby. They have a wonderful waitress from Germany (I’m bad with names) who is so sweet and very attentive. Great rewards program too. Try their brunch if you haven’t yet! Picture is the Veg Head. Can’t wait to eat here again."
"Service was good. The food not so much. We ordered the Chicken avocado sandwich and the Shrimp & Grits. The sandwich was mediocre, dry and lacking in avocado. A nice healthy stack of lettuce was present to give height. We asked for a side of BBQ, but received a odd chutney of sorts. The Shrimp & Grits were labeled as creamy, but were actually soupy, hard to eat with the form supplied. They definitely had over-salted the dish. I see no reason to return."
"Am half-hearted with this South Knoxville restaurant. Food selection is wide. We’ve tried a lot of different food whenever we go here. But the common theme for the food is too salty and over bearing. The Shrimp and Grits is yummy, but an order would be good for probably 3 people coz it’s very creamy. The biscuits are huge and they have that beautiful brown color but the biscuits crumble easily. The flour nachos have nice dips (cheese, corn and beans, and salsa), but the deep-fried flour nachos are super salty. They should really go easy on seasoning. Our favorite is the cinnamon waffle panini, which has a nice flavor and texture. Service is really good. I like the resto interior, pretty art works."
"Our brunch bunch took a break from our normal West Knoxville Saturday dates to head to Redbud Kitchen in South Knox this past weekend. It was great! Our entire crew enjoyed the food and atmosphere so much! I highly suggest sitting in the window so you can people watch! The only issue was the service. Our server was slow to come back to check on us or for drink refills and was slow getting our checks. There was a PRIDE event going on outside. But, inside it didn't seem as crazy as it could've been. So, I am not quite sure what was keeping her from being as attentive as most servers would be. We got there right at opening and were one of the first tables sat. The tots were INCREDIBLE! I even brought the leftovers home and reheated that night for supper! I'd suggest them- though- as more of an appetizer than a personal plate/lunch. The Monte Cristo was really good, too. Everyone loved the regular tots, too. You can choose a different side (tots are the standard). But there will be an up-charge. Food was great! Great drinks, too! The parking was a bit challenging. But, that's likely because of the events going on. Overall I do recommend. Get there at opening and remember- that's not till 11 a.m.!!! If you're there early, relax on their patio while you wait for them to open."
