"We visited Caza Brava on a Monday afternoon, it was for an early dinner. There were only a few other folks in the restaurant. Not one employee greeted us or offered to seat us. Once we were seated, the short hispanic woman that took our order was not at all friendly, she wasn’t rude but she certainly wasn’t friendly towards my husband or myself. ( bad day maybe? ) I ordered the chicken fajitas. The top of the platter looked ok but it had a horrible scorched taste and the chicken was really dry!! After taking several bites and not understanding why it tasted so burned, I transferred the food to another plate. It was then that I saw how scorched the food underneath was and why it tasted so awful. Between the unwelcoming environment and the terrible food, we will not be returning to this restaurant."

"This was my 2nd trip to Casa Brava & it is officially the best Mexican food in Knoxville. From the moment I walk in I'm greeted with such happiness from the owner Javier and my server Jorge. The hugs may be free but they are priceless. The cuisine boasts of fresh ingredients, not overly spiced but just perfect. The natural flavor of perfectly prepared dishes complimented by just the right amount of spice. Though some dishes are fried, I never feel like I have eaten greasy food. They are clearly vigilant about this. The atmosphere is festive and colorful, slightly eclectic and with a touch of warmth and class. I am now a regular here and I can't wait for my next meal and the smiles and hugs waiting for me."

The vibe and atmosphere is good, and the staff is extremely welcoming and friendly. The food? Exceptional! I highly recommend the Bang Bang Wings. Explosive flavor and chicken wings cooked to perfection. This is a fun and tasty Mexican menu. Caza Brava is a must visit for Knox!"
