"I enjoy the fact that we have a DS so close to us now, but the latest remodel and discontinuance of clothing for the sake of stocking more groceries is asinine. No one shops for groceries at DS; the drive 2 miles down the road to IGA. In fact, consumers purchase groceries so little from DS in Woodburn that milk is literally expiring while sitting in the cooler. Twice my husband has purchased milk only to get home and notice the date on it expired. Needless to say, we double check now or we stop at IGA on our way out of town. The prices of DS groceries are not competitive, it’s hit and miss. I miss the old DS where they had just enough grocery items to sustain you until you could make it to the store, and could grab a pack of T-shirt’s and socks before heading out for vacation, or swimming trunks for a weekend at the lake. It just doesn’t work with perishable groceries for us in Woodburn KY. Everything else is good though. I like the new decor items that have come in post remodel. It would be nice to have the old, larger selection of toiletries. With the addition of groceries, the variety of toiletry items took a hit. The front check out counter is an absolute mess. We used to make a line extending straight back through the store, now there is no structure and no one knows where to stand. Everyone is just sort of standing around trying to figure out what’s going on. Please get rid of the u necessary extended grocery and bring back the old DS we all know and love."

"I was honestly surprised at all the options this DG offers. The grocery part is huge compared to the size of what this store appears on the outside. My son had to use the restroom, so we stopped on the way back from BG. I wasn't sure what to do as far as lunch went, but I quickly came up with some affordable, healthy kid options. For a little over $11, I was able to feed myself and my kids in a pinch and had extra food left over. This little gem is a great secret between BG and Franklin! I will be shopping here again! Thanks to the staff for being so friendly and helpful to me and my kids!"

"The man there today around 8:30am was awesome. I had already been to one Dollar Store and had to leave. The digital coupons weren’t working. The same issue happened at this store but he went above and beyond to make sure it was fixed. He also made sure my items were rung up with the correct price. Awesome service"

"Friendly staff that goes beyond every time it’s asked of them. The Manager Missy seems to have everything on lock and running like a pristine engine should. Never had a issue or complaint with this location and it doesn’t seem it’ll ever happen. That’s more than anyone can ask out of a dollar market, right?!"
