"The restaurant had about 10 people when I was seated. It took a very long time to order. The server seemed overwhelmed, so I asked a manager if I could order, and she took it. The food took a long time to come out, but it was delicious. I waited and waved at the server for more coffee, but I was over-glanced. Eventually, I went to the self-serve coffee station by the front desk myself. Other guests started doing the same thing. It's disappointing for a restaurant with a lot of great reviews."

"Stayed here May 2023, it was my first time in Nashville and both Gathre and The Fraye Hotel were a dream! I definitely plan on returning next time I’m able to. The food was great, and my server Charlie was incredibly sweet and kind! He was very knowledgeable about the menu and we had a lovely conversation. I had the salmon with a side of mac and cheese, and I still think about it 9 months later!"

"We celebrated a birthday brunch at the Gathre and it was fancy enough to make her feel grown up but casual so you don't need to worry about dressing up. DJMayo was there, in charge of the music when we went. The number of items in the menu is quite small, but there was enough variety for everyone. We offered the Lobster Eggs Benedict, Avocado Toast, Bacon Flight, and a Yogurt Parfait. It was pricey for what you get, but we knew that coming in. Everything was tasty, the service was sharp and friendly, and we had a great time."
