Irons Steakhouse

"My wife and I really enjoy steak dinners and thought we'd give this place a try. It's located within The Mint Gaming Hall as most casinos have steak houses. The staff was great and the restaurant was super clean. But I can honestly say that the food was just okay, especially since it's fairly expensive. My wife enjoyed her filet, but my strip steak, although cooked a nice medium, was grisly in spots and just left me wanting something better at the prices this place charges. The deep-fried asparagus was good enough, and the desserts went over pretty well with us both. Adult beverages are reasonably priced and made a bit strong. Cool. Overall we had a decent meal, but at about $180 total for two dinners, we'll likely not circle back any time soon."

"Richard was an excelent bartender/server. He was very helpful in choosing our dinner items and drinks to go with them. Top notch service for sire. The meal was excelent, best steak house I have eaten at in years.... and the service made it even better. We were in town helping a family member move across the country, if I am ever near Kentucky again...... I am def stopping by for another porterhouse!!!!!"

"We have dined at Iron Steakhouse many times and usually over order and are stuffed. This time, I tried the Almond Crusted Salmon and shared the loaded garlic smashed potatoes with my husband. Hands down, the Salmon has been the best, for me, thus far. The atmosphere is quiet and the service is always spot on. So, we actually had room to share a dessert, and went with the Tiramisu. It was more of a creamy pudding texture, but still good. I did glance at someone's Cheesecake with blueberry sauce, and that looked awesome! Make reservations if possible."

"I have to admit, the first time I went to the Irons Steakhouse... I didn't expect much. However, I was blown away by the entire dining experience. We have been back since and had an equally pleasant experience. I my book consistency is just as important as food, service, and atmosphere. If you enjoy old fashions, try one here. True mastery. Well done."
