Ma and Pa's Kettle

"So I left an earlier bad review because I was unable to fit into any of their booths and when I asked if they had a loose chair I could sit in, I was told they did not. Based on the owner's response that they did have a chair available and I should have asked for the owner, we revisited Ma and Pa's Kettle to see how the food was. We were impressed with the Catfish, hush puppies and fries. The mozzarella cheese sticks were pretty awesome too. Will probably be placing orders to go on these items in the future. I still think they could have a chair or two maybe at each end of the tables in the middle of the dining room, just so a larger than normal person doesn't have to explain that they need a chair. I deleted the old one star review and replaced it with this one because it wouldn't update the Stars unless it was a new review."

"Husband and I have ate here several times never disappointed in food or service. They have daily down home cooking specials such as liver and onion or catfish with slaw and okra.."

"My husband & I ate here for lunch on 12/8/23 I had the special of the day; meatloaf, mashed potatoes, Mac & cheese, & cornbread. My husband had a double cheese & bacon burger w fries & we had the mozzarella sticks for an appetizer. We both thoroughly enjoyed both meals. 0 complaints!!! Meatloaf was absolutely amazing, the best mashed potatoes!! This was some of the best (if not the best) country/home made food. Prices are very reasonable & will definitely come back again!!"

"Love this place, our first time here and the food is so yummy. Love the home cooking vibes, friendly staff. We had the vegetable beef soup and double cheeseburger. The atmosphere and attention you get here is incredible. Five out of five stars!"

"Was actually surprised with how spacious the small spot was! Food was delicious and service was phenomenal- as a mom, I typically don’t get to my food as quick as my husband as I have to help my son with his food but the owner came by and asked if they could warm up my plate! It didn’t need to be warmed as it was still so hot, but the service is just wow. Highly recommend!"
