"I ordered three empanadas - they had a nice thin crust and were packed with ingredients. These were the best empanadas I’ve had since living in a small Venezuelan Andean town 20+ years ago. I recommend the carne mechada (shredded meat) - it was very “clean” - not dripping with fat or oil. And the sauce they provided for dipping was a perfect complement. I also had the frescolita soda. My daughter loved the one sip I gave her (I’m greedy and didn’t share much). This is a common soda available in Venezuela and is full of added sugars (80-something % of recommended value) so no wonder it’s so tasty! For those tracking at home, the closest thing I found to it is Goya’s Cola Champagne which isn’t even the same color. Order something beyond the three empanadas to get full. Anyhoo, live a little and try this food. Nom nom nom!"
"I decided to eat here when my usual place was closed. I immediately noticed how clean everything was. Warmly greeted as I approached the counter, the aroma was wonderful. I tried the Pabellon Criollo and it was excellent. Glad I stopped by, definitely not my last."
"The pork Patacon (with maduro) was delicious. One of the best things I’ve had in awhile. They put ham in it which made me love it! I got the carne mechada one too and it was delicious as well. Large portions and gluten free too! Passionfruit juice was yummy!"
"Omg did not know this place existed! Larger variety on the menu, nice quiet atmosphere, extremely fast service, excellent prices! Went with my brother and we got 2 entrees and tried 3 different appetizers and shared them. Serving sizes were larger than what we expected so we both had to go boxes. We enjoyed everything we got. Pictures are the pastelitos, mondacos, papa de yucca, patacon, and teque burger! Everything was great!"
"The Teque is the absolute most beastly and tasty burger in the zip code! Speechless! Cheese stuffed fried bread hides a volcano of food including bacon and ham and hamburger. The mandocas are inexplicably delightful. You never tasted this blend of flavors. The empanadas are crisp and fresh and they make a mean cappuccino as well! We will be back."
