"During my recent visit to Toyama Japanese Steak House, I had a mixed dining experience. The highlight was definitely the sushi – we ordered the 'Pretty Woman', 'Rainbow', and 'Philadelphia' rolls. Each of these selections was quite good, offering a satisfying taste of what the restaurant's sushi menu has to offer. However, the overall Japanese cuisine experience was average – not particularly outstanding, but not disappointing either. For appetizers, we tried the calamari and fried soft-shell crabs. The calamari was a pleasant surprise, cooked well with a nice flavor. Unfortunately, the fried soft-shell crabs were a different story. They were unappetizing to the point where we couldn't eat them. Despite expressing our dissatisfaction, we were still charged the full price for this dish, which was a bit disheartening. In conclusion, Toyama Japanese Steak House offers decent sushi options but has room for improvement in other areas of their menu and customer service, particularly in how they handle customer feedback on their dishes."

"The Best Sushi in Tennessee!!! I love Toyama’s they make the best sushi ever. Their food is always fresh, delicious and melts in your mouth. I highly recommend giving Toyama Japanese Steak House a try, I recommend the Yum Yum Roll and the Hurricane Roll, you want be disappointed. O and please don’t forget the Shrimp Tempura for as an appetizer, trust me, your taste buds will thank you."
