"Great family place serving straight-up southern food. I was visiting from the UK and don't get the chance to eat this kind of food often. Hattie was friendly and helpful and guided me through the menu. I ate twice on a 3-day visit. The meatloaf was perfect and one of the best I've had. The mashed potato was creamy, soft and just the right amount of seasoning as were the green beans. The water cornbread was something special, the baked tilapia soft and melt-in-your mouth."

Catfish, mashed potatoes and brown gravy, and green beans for him, country fried steak, mashed potatoes and brown gravy, and macaroni and cheese for me. Both were delicious but especially the catfish which was the best he’s ever had. We both highly recommend this place."
