"I dined at Awash Ethiopian Restaurant several times and was blown away by the experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the owner. The atmosphere was inviting and cozy, setting the perfect tone for a delightful meal. Now, onto the food - wow! Every dish was bursting with flavor and made with the freshest ingredients. Whether it was the "tibs", or the veggie combo, each bite was a true delight to the senses. What truly sets Awash apart is their exceptional customer service. They went above and beyond to ensure that my dining experience was nothing short of perfect. Overall, I can't recommend Awash enough. If you're looking for delicious Ethiopian food paired with outstanding service, look no further. I can't wait to visit again!"
"Thr food was good but lentils super spicy. She only asked meat or vegetarian. We picked vegetarian and the price was 15.99. When we went to pay she double charged us. Beware of this place. Read other reviews. Shes overcharging ppl!!!"
"I cannot say enough good things about this place! The service is top notch and the food is hands down the best I’ve ever eaten. Not just Ethiopian food, I’m saying food. We sat down after being warmly greeted by who we think is one of the owners, and after a short wait she came and asked a simple question; “Do you want veggie, meat, or both?” We asked for both, and 10 minutes later she came back with a plate filled with cabbage, lentils, and beef. Even one of the kind ladies came up to us and started talking about how the food is made and it’s clear she has a passion for it. The ONLY downside is parking. But if you’re not willing to wait to park so you can eat here, you clearly haven’t tasted what they make yet."
"I was really wanting some Ethiopian food and this place was recommended to me. I'm glad I made the drive over there. It might not be a fancy place by any means, for some it may be off putting, for me it's part of the experience and the food is great! There are only 6 tables inside and the menu is pretty basic, you don't really choose what you want, she ask you if you want meat or veggies and she makes you a plate of what she made for the day the portion is well worth the money. My photo is one veggie plate closest to you and the meat one for the day. We will definitely be returning."
"If you want authentic Eithiopian fare, come here! This is an "owner does all" little strip mall restaurant. Nothing fancy. This sole woman in traditional dress, greeted is warmly, asked if we wanted a vegetarian or meat-based meal and cooked it up for us in a matter of minutes. It was like we were sitting at her kitchen table...We had one veggie combo and one meat combo. Both delicious with generous portions served on injera. The berbere spiced beef ( legga tibs) was very flavorful as was the yellow lentils ( kitalicha). Sides of red lentils, cabbage, potatoes, and collards all on both platters with addition of egg and homemade cheese on the meat platter! Credit cards are accepted via Square."
