"We can't recall a more memorable dining experience. Server Dana was attentive yet leaving us to enjoy each other and our magnificent dinner. Atmosphere was superb cozy and not loud. GM Destin was kind and hospitable. And the food? Every dish, start to finish, had a unique taste. I had a pasta that far outstripped anything we had in Bologna last year! Even the coffee with scrumptious desserts was hot and delicious. If you have one meal in Nashville, make it this wonderful restaurant!"

"Outstanding. I’ve been to the Margot cafe a few times and it is my favorite spot to bring friends when they visit from out of town. I took a friend here on 12/02 and everything from our server, Evelyn’s care, to the delicious food was amazing. We started with cocktails, we had the pear pressure, delicious and refreshing. For appetizer we had the smoked salmon which was extremely flavorful. I had the lamb shank with polenta. The lamb was so tender and flavorful and the polenta silky. My friend had the grilled chicken if I’m not mistaken and we shared the peanut butter chocolate chip ice cream for dessert. Can’t get enough of this place"

"Arrived to our reservation at 6:15 on Oct 28th. While we didn’t place a drink order as we sat we ordered next. The second round, we had to remind our server and it had been sitting at the bar. 30 minutes into the table service, the tables who came after us already ordered and after two courses over, our entrees didn’t make it out for another 45 minutes, other tables seemed to have faster, more prompt service. Olives were surprising good, the pizza was burnt, all the topping melted toward the center and underneath was extra crispy. When we brought it up the server did offer to rebake it, but if you’re paying $15 for a small “pizzette” that isn’t our call to make, the expo should have not let it go out to the table. See photo. My tri-tip was good, no filet mignon by any means thought a better piece of steak would be on the menu. Wife’s mackerel was tiny and left her hungry after 3 courses. Better experience the first time we went prior to Covid."

"We came here to celebrate a beautiful birthday dinner. Arrived a little early to our reservation, but they seated us immediately. First impressions, a super beautiful and rustic looking interior with an old-fashioned feel. The menu was fantastic with all farm to table options that change daily. There’s so many yummy options to choose from and plenty of choice for vegetarian and meat lovers. For the menu tonight we opted for the focaccia with olive oil and balsamic, the skirt steak with fresh veggies and the zucchini and couscous dish. Everything including the grapefruit bourbon cocktail was killer so much flavor. Ended with an espresso torte for dessert that was so fudgy and decadent. One of the only places in the city I’d give out five stars this easily, best spot for upscale food in east Nash."

"Fantastic farm to table dining with a bit of a French inspired twist. Everything was plated well and tasted fantastic. Highly recommend going earlier in the evening as the restaurant only has so much of certain dishes and they will run out! Menu changes frequently with what's fresh, so there's always something new to try."
