"Sam’s was one the first places I been to after moving from Chicago. Ian was my server and took great care of me it felt like home! He was very funny and very professional and made it comfortable for my fiancé and I. He was on top of everything and took care of what we needed right away! He has been my server the past several times I was there, and always enjoyed his company. The atmosphere was great and lively. I will always be coming back here! :)"

"We found this place after 2 failed attempts at getting Bar-B-Q. It's a typical sports bar with plenty of tvs. It would be my goto place to go watch big games, if I lived here. They do not have any shellfish on the menu, which is a plus for me. I would recommend this place if you are looking for bar food. There isn't anything super unique about this location."

"Always a great time at Sam’s in Hendersonville, they have great food and the best fries in sumner county hands down. The wings are hit or miss but can’t go wrong with the ribs and cold beer! The nachos are always good too very hefty size of toppings so none of those cheap ways out like other places, servers are always great too where you never get left without a drink or wondering where they are or what they’re doing they’ve continued to impress us and the management seems to have it under very good control cause everyone seems happy and excited to be at work whatever they’re doing they need to train other restaurants around town because they’ve truly set the standard for the industry locally. I have held back my review for a while after 4-5 visits to see if it changes and every time I come it’s amazing. Give them a try anytime of the day and you’ll leave satisfied for sure!"

"We tried their ribs last weekend. It was unique - smoked and grilled. The grill part made it even better tasting. The meat fell off the bone. The full plate size was so big, my wife and I could share a plate. The service was very good. It looks like a big chain but we learned it's not. It is local owned. That's a good thing."

"Great stop for a quick business lunch. Food was good, service was decent. Neat location on the water where they open up the porches when it’s nice out for a lake vacation feel. Our table had a variety of food and everyone liked their. I had the French dip which was flavorful but the cuts of meat I got were too fatty (to the point I had to open the sandwich and doctor out some heavily marbled meat). Other than that, it was a fine experience and the others said the ribs were excellent."
