"I had the shrimp and grits. I am from New Orleans, and I must admit it was the best I ever had. The atmosphere was lovely, the server was friendly, and the manager came out to speak with us to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. I will definitely return. I didn’t give them a five only because my friend had a seafood salad that was $40 in which she thought that was a bit pricey."
"Love this place! Emily, the bartender is amazing. Each time we have been here she has taken great care of us during a very busy happy hour! I had to deduct one star because one of the servers, Jonah. He was absolutely awful. He wasn't our server, but continually came up to the bar to get drinks for his table and bad mouthed "women", obviously, loud enough for us as patrons to hear and be offended. Otherwise, five stars all around!"
"Went here tonight for a birthday dinner. I was a bit nervous based on the reviews. Our table ordered filets, blackened catfish special, and a burger and the food was delicious! Our steaks were cooked to perfection and were so juicy. The other folks loved their dinners, as well. We got cookies and ice cream for dessert and they were so soft and warm! Will definitely go back."
"So, the interior is beautiful, but the food is not good. First of all, it took an hour to eat and the food they served was in the oven an hour I believe. My roasted catfish was black and burnt to the point it was hard. The chicken breast was hard and dry. The jump lump crab cakes was tough like biscuits and dressing only. We had to send the food back and get replacements. When asked about a discount they simply didn't charge me for the first choices. I didnt eat it, of course you shouldn't charge. This was a true disappointment as I was celebrating my sister's birthday. She did not enjoy her birthday meal and I was not going to wait another 30 minutes for dessert. I won't be back. It was too expensive for the quality of food. I don't mind paying for food, but the quality should be worth it. My suggestion: hire new chefs. To present people with these dishes does not speak highly of your craft."
"Hot smoked salmon was TINY for the price. I have small hands and it was abt half the size of it. Both of our Lobster rolls were absolutely pathetic for the price, hardly filling half the roll. Didn’t include gumbo we ordered. So disappointed for the amount we paid."
