"I have to say, I was kind of disappointed with my latest visit. I haven't been in years and went for riding boots. The shoe dept is not very big, the quality wasn't impressive and nobody offered any assistance. Not even when we set off the door alarms coming in and going out of the store. We asked if it was OK to leave, and nobody even acknowledged us. Wonder if people shoplift so often it's just ignored. I sure hope not."

"Went in by recommendation of someone else because I know very little about doing my own makeup and needed someone to teach me how to have a more thorough every day look. I honestly just needed someone to look at my face and tell me what they would do and show me how to apply everything. I went in prepared to spend money on whatever they suggested. I walked up to the counter and told the girl I was embarrassed to even ask but that I needed help figuring out how to do my makeup. She told me they didn’t do lessons and kept asking me what I wanted to learn, and I didn’t have an answer because - I don’t have any clue where to start. She wouldn’t give me any info or tips; just kept telling me I had to give her more info about what I wanted to learn. I finally got embarrassed and frustrated enough that I told her nevermind. She told me she was self taught and to go to YouTube - as if I’m a total idiot and haven’t already tried that. It took a lot of courage for me to walk in there today, and I feel so defeated because of her lack of determination to meet me where I was and help me find solutions. Add it to the list of places in the avenue shopping center that I won’t be going back to."
