"The food was super good and super fresh. They even put aluminum foils when you order take out and it was hot and warm when I get back. I did forget to ask for a receipt for expense reason and the lady on the phone was super nice to help even though it was busy and have to figure out the tech to send me via email. Super friendly, super nice, and great food!"
"A popular spot that really lives up to it's reputation. Every single dish was so delicious I'd go back and order everything again happily. However that would mean I'd miss out on trying all the other menu options! It's an extensive list making this a solid choice for multiple return visits. The location is very unassuming in a strip mall. It is also very small. Not much atmosphere but that's ok it's comfortable and cozy in an unassuming way. We arrived with a group of 8 and had to wait at the bar next door for enough folks to leave for them to put some tables together and this was a random Tuesday. I would not go with a group larger than 4. They do not take reservations or wait-list. That said everyone was very friendly and accommodating. The service was also super fast and the food comes out quick and screaming hot. Obviously hot pots are a great choice but I loved my mackerel dish. It was salty meaty fish that really hit the spot. The seafood pancake was a great accompaniment and also makes a wonderful app for the table given it's crazy large size. They have a small beer selection, a little bit of hot and cold sake, and soju plain and with fruit flavors. You really can't go wrong here and they deserve the accolades."
"Great little hole in the wall Place most authentic Korean food I've had so far here. Not nearly as top-tier as when I live there, but definitely some of the best I've had here in the states."
"Decent Korean food place in Nashville! Food: ordered Kal-guksu and fried dumplings. Dumplings were crispy and the soy sauce was good at complimenting the dumplings. Kal-guksu broth and the noodles were good! Atmosphere: crowded during lunch time. There were people waiting to be seated, I want to say at least 2-3 party. The service was little bit slow due to the place being very busy, but they were kind! Note: they don’t serve bibim-myeon during winter time. If you want the server’s attention, just wave your arm because they’re too busy and might not get to you on time."
"This is a local favorite restaurant for a very good reason. Prices are reasonable, and the food is delicious. My waitress helped me figure out how to mix my food and add the provided sauce. The dish was served in a pre heated bowl that cooks the raw vegetables in the dish as you stir it. The meat and egg are cooked through and the entire dish is on a bed of rice. The sides that came with it are really tasty! If you’ve never had Korean food give this local gem a try."
