Reviews
"Closed on Union Church Rd in Holladay TN and stopped in Bellevue on the way back to review Chris Moss 's remodeled coming soon listing. Then Robert and I had delicious BBQ meal at Jim and Nick's. My stuffed potato was the size of a football. Robert loved his macaroni n cheese Yumm."
"Ole Jim ‘n Nick have been servin’ up heaping plates of southern favorites here for a while! We love the half chicken on the bone platter with tater salad n’ the bbq baked beans! Brisk iced tea goes with everything including the pecan pie! Nice patio and drive thru! Sep 2023 I don’t know what happened but the potato salad was not the same as every other time we have ever eaten here! The fried catfish needed more time in the fryer the last couple of times we have been here as well. The smoked chicken on the bone was still great though."
"Ordered online with a curbside pickup order. Checked in and waited. Finally I had to call for the lady on the phone say “oh sorry”. They bring my food. No drink.. I go inside was “greeted” by the manager. I tell him about my missing drink & he goes & gets it. I thank him and got no response. Food was cold the moment I had got it. Frustrating paying $25 for cold food & poor attitudes."
"As soon as we landed in Nashville and got our rental car we headed right to Jim N Nick's. My wife and I split the sampler plate and we had pulled chicken and pulled pork with baked beans and onion rings. It was $24 and plenty to eat. We were a little bit disappointed that they're already out of brisket at 5:00 p.m. on a Saturday. They told us we'd have to wait 20 to 25 minutes if we wanted the turkey because the turkey wasn't ready. We weren't all that picky about it and we were very pleased with the food we did get. The corn muffins were tasty as well. They were sweet enough to be dessert. This place served some of the best onion rings and they were only $2.59 extra as one of the sides. It's probably impossible to find better barbecue but it would be fun looking. The photo shows the sample plate after my wife took her portion of the pulled pork, the beans and the chicken."
"I’ve been coming to Jim n Nicks since I moved to Nashville 12 years ago. Nashville isn’t a huge BBQ city, and this is a franchise, but somehow it’s always good. Is it the best BBQ I’ve ever had? No. Is it always good BBQ, definitely yes. The spare ribs have always been a favorite of mine, along with those little cheese biscuits. I really have no complaints except for pricing going up. I think in the last few years I’ve seen the sore ribs go from $11 to $15… I always thought they were very affordable for the amount of food. Now they are just an, every once in a while type order. $15 is a lot for a pound of spare ribs. I suggest going here. It’s always good. The staff is friendly. But instead of being a regular, the prices have made this an every once in a while stop."
