Pep Boys

"I've been going to this Pep Boys for years. Not sure that I've ever really had a bad experience. At times communication has been poor, but I didn't have that issue this time around. I went Saturday morning at 8 am for new brakes. I was greated by Loren (I hope that's his name). He was very friendly and helpful. Let me know of a special they were running on oil changed. Perfect because I was due and the sales price was much less than I would have paid at my usual place. When you go to Pep boys, you need to be prepared that you ARE likely to have a fairly long wait. People drop their cars off over night so just because it doesn't look busy doesn't mean you are the only customer. I talked with him about how long the process would take as I had an appointment. Luckily I had planned on long wait and found a ride. I was a little annoyed that my appointment was at 8 and service didn't arrive until almost 9. Things happens, people run late. I was prepared. By the time my appointment was finished so was my vehicle. He applied all available coupons to the services I received knocking off over $100 off of the total. Also the new waiting area is much more comfortable than is was sitting in the middle of a store."

"UPDATE: I stand by what I said about this establishment. While a case was opened a month ago concerning this incident, that's as far as things have progressed. Nothing else has been done. My battery died 2 weeks after leaving this establishment. I just happened to run across the paperwork that was given to me after my visit. Sure enough it showed that my battery was running at 1/2 capacity. (Which I think died quicker because of the snow) If they had taken the time to explain the findings, they could have sold me a battery instead of the headlights that I didn't need. Do what you want as far as going to this location. Just know that you've been warned. As a woman, if you like to be taken advantage of financially, please by all means, visit this location. You'll be called sweetie and told that you will not be given a refund because the service that you asked for was done. Even if what you actually needed was written and sent to them. A professional establishment would have explained what's going on and what can and can't be done. But Godless individuals with no morals do the opposite."

"Horrible way to do business. Don’t waste your time. I have an appointment. I have car here on time. Door is locked. “Systems are down, so we can’t do anything today, we can take a look but won’t be able to do anything”. But I have an appointment, you couldn’t have called me? “No”. I understand that there was a storm and your phones don’t work. But hey friend. No one has a phone to inform the customers who took off of work, in 2 days you couldn’t figure out a way to let customers know? Is your home computer broken? Couldn’t have called anyone on a work cell phone? So many ways you could have had customer relations be good but no. You chose the modern way of “ I’m too lazy”. So knowing you are too lazy to figure out a way to let me know, maybe don’t take off work today to bring your car in. What else are you too lazy to do? What corners are you going to cut so you can make more money? It’s really a shame."

"I have visited this Pep Boys multiple times. They've done so much for me, I've never felt they tried to sell me a service I didn't absolutely need, and when I did need it they'd help me out so I could afford it. I left always feeling like my car was safer after leaving here. I don't remember the names of all four guys I've spoken to there, but Tyler always greets me at the front with a smile and helpful attitude. I will use this Pep Boys as long as I live on this side of Nashville. Thank you ❤️"

"They got me in same day to replace my badly worn tire. All other stores I would’ve had to wait 1-2 days for them to get my tire in stock. My only complaint is I asked them to check for a leak in another tire and they did not. They were quick polite and courteous. Also the best price for a tire!"
