Swanky's Taco Shop Germantown

"Swankys Tacos are delicious. We have ate here and also had their catering. Their queso is always delicious. Their tacos are really good. I love the mango salsa on the seared tuna tacos. Ive never had bad food from them."

"We do enjoy the menu at Swankys. It is a little bit expensive for what you get. Tonight the service was a little bit light but generally it's better. They have a good bar but I rarely see it with a bartender. Tonight it was covered with catering and to-go."

"Hit the door at 12:23 right at the peak with the lunch crowd and had a bit of a wait to place my order. (25 minutes). Back at the table our order arrived 6 minutes later. We both ordered grill items which are prepared in the back. A lot of the basic taco variations are prepped right in front of you. I will have to say the shrimp tacos were pretty good and my partner liked her chimichanga although the plastic knife to cut it with left a lot to be desired. Uniquely seasoned chips and salsa. We both left feeling full as the portion size was rather generous. If you coming on your lunch hour it might be a little tight unless you work close by, off the hour it’s only a few minutes wait. Enjoy."

"Came on a Friday night and was able to ordered quickly. I ordered the Nachos add Chicken with an order of Chips and Salsa. The Nachos were just ok.. as there were some burnt chips and the toppings weren’t evenly spaced out. I also would have liked to add more toppings than what it came with. The chips and salsa was very good! I would give it another shot to try their burrito bowls and guacamole."

"So, we went to Swanky’s and had a good experience mostly. The food served was fresh and delicious. The only issue or problem was service speed. It was kinda slow; waited a bit too long to get our appetizers. Our drinks came relatively quickly, so that’s a plus. I’d recommend!"
