"I was stuck broke down with a flate tire. Not only did they come to me, Derrick fixed my tire in the parkinglot I was broke down in. Charleen and Derrick are life savers! They are 2 of the best people I've ever met. I can not express my gratitude and appreciation enough. Words don't do them justice! 6 stars!!!"
"Ms. Charlene help me, I told her about the other tire place I had left they wanted to charge me $259.18 she compared the price and her price was $257.00 also she very knowledgeable and a good asset to the company. Don't work good worker to hard we the only one cares about our customers. Will be back to replace the other three soon."
"Literally the worst experience I have ever had. I went in because I had a battery draw, they convinced me that it was my battery and $420 later the problem is still very existent. They have not offered to give me any money back. I paid for an electrical test to diagnose the problem and a new battery. My battery was not even a year old, and they convinced me that purchasing a new one would replace the problem. They did not fix the problem and customer service is absolutely horrendous at this location. I have contacted corporate twice. This was AFTER I took my car back to this location to try and fix the issue. Customer service was horrible. They did not seem to care at all that I paid over $400 to have a safe vehicle to take my son to school in, and the problem was never fixed. I will never take my vehicle to this store ever again. I feel that the people at this store took advantage of me because I’m a young woman. The way these people do business is absolutely disgusting - please take your vehicle elsewhere if you want a real diagnosis."
"I initially gave Pep Boys a 5-star review. But two weeks later had to change my review. On July 14, 2023, I had a level kit put on my 2022 Ford F-150 with approximately 2800 miles on it and then went straight to Pep Boys for a front-end alignment, which cost me $201.00. While at Pep Boys, the tech came to me and asked me what was up with my truck. I advised him about having the leveling kit on my truck, and I just need an alignment. The tech said my alignment was fine and nothing needed to be adjusted. On July 24, 2023, I noticed my tires didn’t look right. I compared the front to the rear tires ( see pic 1 and 2 front with 4 and 5 rear); it is clear that the vehicle is way out of alignment (500 miles since appointment at Pep Boys). I went back to Pep Boys and spoke to the assistant manager. She tried to tell me that with a leveling kit, a correct alignment was not possible. After informing her that this is my fourth F-150 and that l have had the same level kit put on and didn’t have an issue with the last three, she went and talked to another employee and then came back and told me she would have to set me up with an area specialist and let them look at my truck to see if anything is wrong with it. Well, there is something wrong. All you have to do is look at the tire wear. And she is the assistant manager???? Really!!!! So now I have a brand new truck with badly worn tires because someone was too lazy to do their job or incapable of doing the job. I have decided to take my truck to my dealer and have it correctly repaired and everything documented. Then deal with Pep Boys. I will request a refund, both front tires replaced, and whatever Ford charges me to get it right. I’ll post here as to what Pep Boys does about correcting this! UPDATE……. Ok, so I didn’t take it to Ford. I decided to stick with the plan and let the specialist look at it. After the specialist looked at the truck, he advised me that it was way out of alignment and that he had corrected the problem. He also advised that he would recommend to the manager that they need to replace my tires. The manager came out with a better attitude and informed me that she was ordering my replacement tires and would call me when they came in. On August 1, 2023, the manager called me and advised that my tires were in and asked when would be a good time for me to come by so they could mount them. I asked if I could come right down, and she agreed. When I arrived, the manager put my truck in a bay, and 30 minutes later, I had my new tires and was on my way. To Pep Boys management: Although what happened was entirely uncalled for, and in the beginning, the manager had a bit of an attitude, in the end, it was handled as it should have been, and your manager and I left on a good note. So thanks to your manager and your specialist for making a bad situation better and for doing the right thing."
