Catfish Cabin

"Used to love coming to this place when I was younger but this past Sunday March 3rd 2024 we went there to eat lunch when we walked in we asked how long the wait would be they said 10 minutes but yet did not take our name as we continue to sit there for almost 30 watching people coming in and out getting seats thought this was very rude of the hostess staff that we got there before the big crowd Rush come in being told that we would have a 10 minute wait only to sit there for 25 minutes being ignored.. definitely won't go back no more childhood memory ruin.."

"Recommended the Cabin to out of town friend and was very disappointed. The service was great but the fish was cut in skinny little strips that were extra crispy, with very little taste and too much crunch. The three piece fillet meal was the equivalent of one fillet cut into 3 strips! And she said her shrimp was old! Won’t be recommending again!"

"Very spacious and clean restaurant. Enjoyed being in the large room for a party. Wait on our orders was a little long but it was a Sunday after church and there were 2 parties of 50 people together. I feel it took longer than it should've to get our orders. The waitress was friendly, and informative and worked her tail off. The fish was good but when you live close to Reelfoot Lake it doesn't compare. I will go back. Not putting this place down. My only true complaint was is the 2 hostesses needed to acknowledge customers coming in or leaving and put their cell phones away."

"First time diner. Heard great things so wanted to try it out. Hands down the best fried green tomatoes I’ve ever had at a restaurant in my entire life! Most times when you order fried green tomatoes they are like an imitation of the real thing, huge thick slices, frozen and pre breaded. NOT THESE!!! These are homemade from scratch! Just like my grandma made! This will be the only reason I come back, these and the hush puppies , I didn’t care that much for the catfish or the coleslaw. I definitely will be placing many to-go orders for these tomatoes!"
