"Totally overpriced for what you get. The tea is average and it comes only one pot per two people and the food was very average. The only thing I liked was the pumpkin scones and cucumber deli sandwiches. Went this past Sunday and had to wait 25ish minutes before we were actually served and was not checked on the entire time. No water refills were offered. Please don’t waste your money on this."
"I have been here before for the macarons and coffee which we have always enjoyed. Yesterday 6 of us came for the afternoon tea and we all agreed this experience is just not a good overall value. Presentation is stunning with the beautiful dishes and gold tiered trays but the food and experience could be improved. For $30 for kids and $40 for adults, you have to share a pot of tea per couple, so you have to hope you have the same taste. The serving is one tiered tray with a couple savory options and several sweets. The menu is same for adults as it is for the kids but there is not enough for each person to have one of everything. Because it's all blended together on one tray it's confusing. The savory sandwiches taste like basic deli turkey kid sandwiches and then a unique cucumber sandwich which most of us did enjoy. Everything comes out super fast so it feels rushed. Having been to the Peabody's high tea several times, the cost for adults is $10 more at $50 and the cost for kids is the same at $30 but there you get 3 courses with several options, your own pot of tea, and a more prolonged experience. I think this tea experience could be improved with at least another course, their own tea pot of choice and ensuring that each person gets to try everything."
"A cute, chic coffeeshop. Well, my anglophile friend will be more fascinated by its name and the face that you can book an afternoon high tea there for you and plus one. I stopped by for a quick coffee so far. I just had a cup of cappuccino. It was decent, a bit overpriced I felt. But their afternoon high tea seems luxurious. Its 35$ ( for one, or two persons? Not sure) and you have to reserve it well ahead. I have seen people having their tea with a lot of high tea snacks. That looks yum. I can’t wait to go back for my high tea experience. I will update again my experience."
"This adorable shop in Overton Square has delicious macarons and other French pastries. They also serve Stumptown coffee and make their own delicious syrups for lattes with interesting flavors like orange blossom and rose cardamom. The homemade marshmallows are a must; the lavender ones are my favorite. They also host pop ups in the that give the place a real community feel. You should put 17 Berkshire at the top of your to do list next time you’re in midtown Memphis!"
