Brooksie's Barn

"We had never been to Brooksie's Barn, but were looking for somewhere different to eat. We live in Dyersburg, TN, about 40 minutes from Jackson, but thought we'd make the drive to give them a try. We are so happy we did! Everything was fantastic! The food was fresh and hot and very tasty, everything from southern style veggies to fried chicken and peppered polish sausage and the desserts were delicious. If you have a chance, ask them to bring out some fresh pineapple fritters. Omgoodness! They were to die for, though I think they should bring the ice cream machine back because that would have been the perfect topping to the fritters to end the meal. Thank you to everyone at Brooksie's for your kindness and hard work. We'll be back!"

"My 3 adult kids and myself went to Brooksies Barn yesterday (Saturday around 4:30) we had been looking forward to this outing for some time. However, we were terribly disappointed!!! It's been years since I've been there and my kids had never been. The food was decent but definitely NOT WORTH the nearly $97 that we spent to eat the barely sup par food that we ate!!! The food was not hot by any means! It was barely warm at all! I expected more, way more at this eatery! It's been a very long time since I've experienced this level of disappointment at a restaurant!! One would think that when you are spending nearly $100 for four people to eat a buffet that the food would reflect spending that kind of money!!! It definitely DID NOT!!!"

"Barbecue buffet. Plus options for the non bbq folks. Pulled pork, ribs, bbq bologna, smoked chicken, fried chicken, meatloaf and pasta. And a salad bar and desert bar on top of all that. Cozy atmosphere with a lake view."

"Brookie's Barn is a good buffet restaurant. The food is always good, wish they had more options, it always seems to be the same food everytime I eat there. The waitresses are nice & friendly. Get a table by the windows for a nice view."
